My first real digital camera was a Canon 7D. In early 2014 I went mirrorless with an R50, using an adapter for all my EF and EF-S glass. I'm keeping my R50 for sure, but I have an R10 inbound. It'll be nice to have a control joystick again. It's January 2025, and we have an excellent selection of RF glass now, though it tends to be expensive.

Which lens is better for Sony A7 IV? Tamron 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD or Sony FE 24-240mm F3.5-6.3 OSS? What would you recommend as a better choice?

Hello handsome, the reason why Sigma lenses allow you to use first party compatible options is because they reverse engineer sony cameras and crack the code, hence why you can achieve 120fps!!! using AF-A, use fully physical stabilization and highlight the PDAF area. About the active stabilization in video my DG DN 70-200 OS does make the camera gimbal sing.10:20 you can also see the sigma is actually sharper. Either that or mistakenly placed the labels, for the left one being slightly yellowish.

Why is there no videos flying over it? From one side to the other unbroken footage. Surely the members invloved in the treaty could agree to do it once for science and just public intrest? Tbh it doesnt help disprove flat earthees when theyre literally is no footage showing the full continent only the coast and slightly inland. Just show a video of a drone or plane flying over it one side to the other.

That is not a safe car. Insurance wise, if anything serious happens… Get a tent, any tent and a 4x4. The gadgets are interesting thought.

Canon is missing pro consumer lenses. I’d like to see the viltrox lenses come to the RF mount. Especially since the L series are too expensive. At this point a user is just better off using a non canon brand. Especially when comparing decent lens prices.

Any update to your process? I use my 11in iPad pro to view, cull, name and some edits while on trips. Nice getting home with it done. iPad also great camping as easy to charge. I use “Photo Workflow” app to cull and name the raw + jpg (I created it because I used to hate culling). I use affinity photo to edit.

I lifted my Ram C/V minivan 3 years ago and installed the same Falken tires. I've taken it down some pretty gnarley roads. I drove through one badly washed section where people with 4WD SUVs were hestating and turning back. My only issue with those tires is that they get loud when the tread is about 2/3 worn.
