This is lots of fun and a great way to learn. You should have Pinkstraw on more often.

Good talk. I hate the MVVM-C acronym though.... the whole idea about trying to describe architecture using lettes is insane. Yes it's an app that happens to use MVVM and Coordinator patterns no need to give that a name, if I combine it with a network layer should I now call it MVVM-N-C ? and why? what is the point.

I'm about 4 years late to see this talk but still holds true. Fantastic presentation. Learned not only about hidden areas of MVC but other tidbits too. Like the cost of premature reusability-centric design and where to place the programmatic UI code. I wish the talk had some code samples regarding the different types of controllers though.

At 34:22, isn’t this both true when using the interface builder (either XIB or storyboard)? It is always using mask until constraints is added and it swaps to (autolayout) constraint (inferred)

Nice talk. I have found instead of rawrepresentable you can simply implement a custom var that can return whatever you want based on the case. You can even call this rawvalue if this is a pure enum. This is often a better solution.

Great video Paul, but I have to say that having an entire bit on a community conference where you used your daughter to take a hit at John at 18:21 was disappointing and passive aggressive. I expected more from you.

Really cool, always thought that this could be done, just never seen anyone try. Although, iOS App updates now take around 2 days. Apple have really stepped up their game.
