At my hospital, the baby wears the hospital onesies and when you go home you must change them to your own clothing... so going home outfits are a must. I would recommend to wait until the last minute to change them because if not you need to bring a few spare ones, just saying

My daughter is just 4 months old and I have noticed that she has never cried. But she laughed and try to talk to everyone haha Even though my daughter has never cried (since she was 1 month old), I'm still tired. Because I take her everywhere (shopping,grocery store or even coffee shop😂) And I'm home taking care of her 24 hours. You're amazing Mama I love this video. Thank you!!

Having a baby is not as easy as we think.Too much work inaddition to work and taking care of other family.I have 1 daughter from my first boyfriend and i am done.I want focus on myself.I don't want burnout and die at early age.That is my choice.

Yup I completely understand. I love my daughter and she completes me. It’s hard work and some days you only get 4hrs of sleep . Mother hood is not for the weak it’s a 24/7 job and not everyone is fit for the position. It’s 100% selfless and their is no room for selfish desires.

It's tough being a mom you never ever get that sleep back even when they grow up. I have 5 kids and trust me it doesnt get any easier but thats what keeps us going is our children. I lost 7 babies and its hard i still think about the ones i lost. But we gotta cherish the ones we have whether one kid or 5 😀

Nia is so sweet ❤ our boy is 6 months now and same story with naps 😢 he needs his nap at 18:00 but every day he is fighting it and he will be so exhausted before to go to bed , but I believe it’s a part of the process soon they will nap once 😅 Wanted to ask you, when do you think your MAT will finish? I am going back in March and it’s seems to be so soon, I don’t think I am ready.thank you for your video ❤

Hey Celarskaia! Oh I am glad Nia is not the only one fighting those naps! It does make it difficult at times doesn't it, getting a small glimpse of the toddler mood swings already haha! You just know they are so tired but they don't want to miss anything! So I'm not going back until June, but I do think it will be very tight with money until then, my mat leave pay goes a bit rubbish after March. How do you feel about going back? I'm sure once you're back and you get back into the swing of working life you will enjoy it, but I can imagine it is a very daunting thought right now! Aw thank you, and thank you for watching! ❤

Hiya Rhi! I was watching this and Nias little coos sound so much like a my baby’s, I had to keep checking the monitor! I love how organised you are, so great. What an informative video. I’ve been a nanny for 7+ years and this taught me a few things! One thing I always (try to) carry with me too is a plastic bag. Apologies if you mentioned something like that and I missed it! It’s just useful to have to chuck in dirty clothes/muslins/whatever and has been helpful to have while weaning too, so I can throw in dirty tubs/spoons etc. Also have a question - who are your fave baby/lifestyle influencers? Am always on the hunt for new ones to watch/follow. Sooo lovely to watch another video, thank you Rhi! Xxx

Hey Naomi! I hope you’re well! Oh my gosh! You’ve been a nanny for 7+ years! I think you should teach me a few things haha! I’m probably clueless compared to you! That’s amazing! Yess a plastic bag is an awesome idea! Especially those newborn explosive poops! 🙈 Well, I was hoping to find some new baby/lifestyle influencers too! Do you have any favourites? Tbh, you probably already know these ones, they’re all pretty popular, Emily Norris, homeswithshan, more Hannah, Ellie polly, nicole green and quite liking molly mae’s vlogs since she’s been pregnant!

@@rhisimmonds hmm I’m not sure about that, I feel like my disorganisation as a nanny has just bled into disorganisation as a mother 😂 Oh wow you know the only one of those I watch sometimes is Molly Mae! Will have to check those other girls out, thank you 💕 Hmm well there’s a lovely girl called Meggan Grub/Kirkland who I’ve watched for years (she’s a fitness/lifestyle influenced) who just announced her pregnancy, you might like her stuff.

Great video, so helpful ❤. My LO is coming up to 4 months soon, really like the little sandwich bag with the food, bib and spoon in. Deffo got loads of inspiration from this video. Think I need to get my hands on that changing mat, looks like a really good buy. For any one planning to breast feed I would definitely recommend taking some spare breast pads, some nipple balm (which also doubles up as a great lip balm too) and a breastfeeding cover (or not depending on how comfortable you are BF'ing in public. Love the vid, keep up with the good work you're doing amazing x

I always just bring vests and babygrows/sleep suits as a change of clothes too, rather than bringing a separate outfit. I love the fat flask - I never thought of that for heating the bottle. I’ll definitely be using that. I use sudacreme every time I change my sons nappy. He is almost 5 months. I have to bring soo many dribblers/bibs because my son has started drooling like mad! I’m going to start weaning tomorrow- I’m nervous about it.

Ahh thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Oh the anxiety around the choking is very much present every time I give her a meal haha! I tried her with meat balls the other day and the gagging was too much, I took them away lol! But I think you've just got to trust that their gag reflex is good and it's there to prevent the choking. Still don't make it any easier tho! I wish you the best of luck with your LOs weaning journey! ❤

Some good bits if advice there! Another one I'd give to any breastfeeding mums out there us dont worry if you feel like you're baby 'isnt getting enough milk'. During the first couple of weeks it might feel like your baby is constantly hungry but this us completely normal, it's called 'cluster feeding'. Its your babies way of telling your body to make more milk and your body will respond. As long as they're having plenty if wet and dirty nappies they are getting enough. Of course if you feel like that isnt the case always consult your doctor ❤
@rhisimmonds
@rhisimmonds Жыл бұрын
Yes that’s such great advice! 😍 cluster feeding can be such hard work and feel like the baby never leaves your boob. I think that’s one thing I struggled with with the breast feeding too! From breast feeding mums I know they say the first months are hard but get a lot easier!
