Oh, wow! I can take a break from your Satisfactory videos that I like if it means a blind playthrough of one of my favorite childhood games! Looking forward to the series, and I hope youtube coments play nice and no one spoils anything. Have fun!

Something about going downstairs, from the lost woods, to find the “back entrance” for the Gorons. Never ending story might have some clue, the fish shaped stone eating giant.

Great news! Cant wait to see you play it🥳 well a question for you for the future is: do you think you will focus more or nostalgic games, new games, a type of genre, or will it be completely random and spur of the moment thing? Enjoy your new (old) zelda game to the fullest!😄

The camera is really janky on these early 3D games. I remember it being a huge turn off for me when I tried them as a kid (I was used to 2D gameplay on Super Nintendo). But everything else really holds up. This game pioneered how to do 3D gameplay in so many ways.

I'm so excited to see this!!!! I cannot wait to see you progress and just experience OoT c: Ryan: /walking away from the hole/ Where else could I go?? Me: /just vibing, having a good time/ My partner, who knows the game inside and out: IN THE HOLE, RYAN! IN THE HOLE!

Yes! Excited to see your careful playthrough of OoT. A true masterpiece! Wondering when will you play Tears of the Kingdom.

One of my favorite games of all time. Yes, the controls are wonky and yes, the graphics are very dated (Hey Nintendo, 4k Switch 2 remake please?), but the mechanics and game design make this a standout in the Zelda series and gaming in general. This game set so many conventions that games are still utilizing to this day. Really looking forward to this playthrough.

I want to be clear that as usual, I'm not here for progress; I'm here for the reactions, thoughts, and experiences. Reliving the first time vicariously. So I'm super glad you're taking your time and I genuinely don't care if there's entire videos with zero progress. You do you, that's why I'm here!

I like that Ryan actually takes the time to thoroughly explore things in the games that he plays, and ask himself questions about various things - some blind-players are too much in a rush for my liking, and make a few half-hearted attempts with a few things and then instantly forget about them, but Ryan is determined to try to figure things out.

Wow, it’s been a hot minute since Ive watched one of your playthroughs. And let me just say, in a medium dominated by performative cruelty, your genuine kindness and quick wit are so refreshing. Will definitely be carving out time to watch this one as it comes out. Hope you enjoy this gem of a game as much as I did 25 years ago!

Think of it as anticipation; it will be exciting to see what happens in the next episode.

I love how hard their copium is working to delude themselves with the ‘continuity theory’. Being left behind to starve to death is terrifying. Better to believe whatever it takes to feel like you will be the one on the arc.

Spoiler alert...this game is going to be super fun. It’s Zelda. Ps....legend has it, the first jump to 3D, was a triumph. (“Will be” a triumph, if you happen to be stuck in 92.)

Also I’m glad you don’t have a billion viewers yet, this woulda been a tough message to get through!

I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say that there is an option to switch the Z-targeting method between the emulator “press to enable Z-targeting” and the classic N64 “hold to Z-target”. I much prefer the “hold to z-target” method, but that’s what I played back when this was on bare N64 hardware.

I’m so excited for this! I found your BotW play through around a month ago and I’m still going through that, but this one is special to me, before I could even hold a controller I watched my brother play this, I knew better than to play this immediately and waited until I had some experience playing games first, I can’t wait for you to discover how incredible this game is, and all the surprises that it brings

This is exciting! I have so many fond memories of playing this game with my grandma and I'm always curious to see what people think when they don't have the nostalgia factor to fall back on. This is one of my all time favorite games and is definitely highly regarded, I hope you have fun!

Perhaps the msot influential game of all time. I was born in 2003 but through my brother i was i player this game when i was as young as 4 (never left kokiri forest when i was that young). When i was 12 i played the remake on 3ds. Not long after botw released. My two most cherished games ever. I enjoy reliving it in a small way through your blind playthroughs

Ahh my favorite thing in the world, a blind playthrough of OoT :3 I am so glad you popped up on my feed. I will have to go watch you other Zelda playthroughs! Love the energy and prepared to laugh and cry in pain (affectionately) as you work your way through this game and fight inverted controls. I played so many of these games as a kid I actually can't play un-inverted controls haha. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us, looking forward to future updates!

So nostalgic watching you learn the controls and exploring the world. This and Super Mario 64 were my first 3D games growing up. This is a treat to watch. Even though I had player's guides at the time I still was very new to playing a 3D game. Still, missing out on playing games without help has taught me the pleasures of playing game blind now. I look nothing up, avoid trailers, I even don't pay attention to what new games are coming out (although I usually find out by word of mouth) to avoid spoilers. That is the best way to experience a game and truely know a game exactly for what it is.
