That singer...sure loves his hair! Jim Morrison would cringe if he heard his version!

manzarek, class class class. the singer here is superb. who could have guessed these guys would do what they did ? Jim suffered from alcoholism, but was a very sincere person and deserves his adulation.

I saw Ray and Robby play with the singer from Wild Child in 2008. It was an awesome show. I also saw the Doors play at the Whiskey in the 60's. There never has been a band like the Doors and this old man says there never will be.

Thanks for this! Was at this one with my better half. We had an absolutely wonderful time 🎉 .... Were standing/dancing right around the stage area (left center). These songs were awesome. 🤔, Other highlights that I remember were Po' Boy, Ain't Talkin', Masters Of War, & This Wheel's On Fire. Anyhow, thanks again. Seeing it like this helps make the memories flood on in. ... Best wishes 🤠

This song live, is never the 38rmp speed which means it loses it's hypnotic ability and power that was such an important part of their music. It is gone, live. It is always a garage band jam. Might as well change the words and chords too. Or put it like this: I would never play any live version of Light My Fire for a friend who has never heard it and say " this is a cool cong". Garage band jam at best.

Stunning. I'd have loved to have been there. Considering it was 50 years after the song's initial performance, to hear it so redolent of that time is genius. In fact the only moment where the band revealed an OAP identity was when they started dancing, hilariously, centre stage. I've no idea how Ray and Robbie can play so fresh and inspired at their age.

Saw The Doors of the 21st Century in Charlotte, NC quite a while ago now, they were fantastic! Ian Astbury was a great lead singer, with an occasional English accent that was just fine. My wife and I had close to the stage seats and so the view was great. We stood up the entire show of course and my wife actually screamed non-stop during the entire concert, I will never forget that!

They played ten years as "Riders on the Storm" band (2002-2012). They played eight years as The Doors (1965-1973). I'm glad RotS finally satisfied and fulfilled Ray's deeply wish: to be on the road doing their stuff as a legendary band.

Robby and Ray are fantastic as expected. But this singer is terrible. He puts no heart or soul into the song. He's just mouthing the words in a very bad impersonation of Jim. Just going through the motions. I bet he's never even been a fan of the music.
