Would you consider Lorain County suburbs? Avon is nice. I like Amherst quite a bit too.

Which would you recommend first. North Royalton or Westlake North Olmstead area? Funny thing you lived in both areas being in Strongsville. I'm up in the air about both. I'd like to be near Lakewood, I plan to rent around 1000 -1200 a month I'm looking for low crime no drama. I lived in Euclid most of my life and it was shift thre last 10 years I was there.

It depends. If you like being close to nature, Royalton. If you like access to the beach/downtown, Westlake (great schools as well if that matters). North Olmsted will give similar vibes as Westlake but it’s cheaper to live in.

There is no Parma Senior High...Only 7 public schools for 41 sqaure miles, both Normandy and Forge are collapsing while PsH was totally functional and prestine..... Dont bother if you have kids.

I went to Forge! The teacher in the physics class was my AP physics teacher. Overall I really did enjoy my 4 years at Forge. I made a lot of friendships that I still have to this day. However, Parma schools has declined massively in the last 10 years. Parma high was torn down and the other two are packed to the gill with students. Southside is my favorite.

Avoid any burbs in Cuyahoga county. They have a never ending sin tax to pay for stadiums for a bunch of lousy sports teams. Also Cuyahoga county has the highest sales tax in the state of Ohio at 8%, and as per Ohio law you pay the sales tax for the county you live in when you buy a new vehicle, no matter what county you buy it in.

Tbh , I’d probably shoot to be in Newburgh heights or one of the heights on the east side if I only had 150k to work with for a duplex. But that’s just me. West side Cleveland is having good things happen but it’ll be a long time before it’s like Tremont or Ohio city

I am very pleased with my condo in Shaker Heights. A true suburb of Cleveland, it is a planned city with train service to downtown, which no other Cleveland suburb has.

I grew up in Brecksville from age 6 to 18; the parks were great and it was a cute place. It was on the quiet side, which can be a plus or a minus. The tie to Broadview Heights was very strong.

You are definitely a realtor. You equate list price with quality of life. I'd rather live in Lakewood with its' access to the lake and their metro park entrance, 2 public pools, Lakewood Park, a plethora of quality restaurants and bars, a great library, Beck Center for the arts,etc.

Great video. I grew up in N Olmsted and returned after I started a family. It’s a great place to live and is an easy commute to so much. Don’t forget the metro parks Rocky River Reservation which is in our city. This is a great asset too!

Lived in Brunswick from 1985 to 2002 in the Coventry Estates subdivision. Sold our home there and moved to Medina, living there until 2010 when we moved to Texas. Really miss Ohio and Medina County, a great place to live.

Investment related question; LAIC - How is it that the surrounding counties are held to the Local Agent In Charge? Does that mean Lorrain, Medina, etc implemented the same matching policy?
