I first saw Bruce play live in 1988 and he was fantastic. I wish I'd seen him before on the BITU tour though but I was too young! Never say that nowadays 😂

I saw them in Ottawa, Canada. It was an outside concert and there were no seats. I stood for about 2 hours. I said never again, I wanted to sit. A few months later I saw them in Toronto. Great, there were seats. I never sat down once. They are so infectious.

So young!!! I first saw Bruce in 1999 age 50 and I thought he was amazing. At 75 he is still rocking, amazing performer, there is no one else out there like him.

Probably sacrilege to say this, but Al Barr sings "Do or Die" much better here than Mike McColgan does on the studio album. If you like McColgan, not trying to take that away from you, but he sings in a bizarre vocal inflection on "Do or Die" that makes it hard sometimes to make out the words, while in this video, Al's vocals are clearer and I can understand the words better.
