The girl on the left thinks she is special. She wears a red scarf whilst every other girl just wears black. She want to stand out from the group like pretending to be some soprano, some elite member of the group. Such a pity.

The talent is there for it to have been way way better. So it is disappointing. These are probably college kids not high school kids. So the expectation should be much higher. How could a director stand in front of this group for weeks and not find a better balance

I think Billy Joel sang The Longest Time in Allegro tempo (84 BPM). This version is obviously so much faster, that I could hardly hear the proper syllabication of the words in the lyrics!
