Yep, gets the job done for my purposes, if I were making a proper record I'd be a bit more bothered about tweaking them

I wish it was the actual pedals so you could see the settings, but it’s rad and I bought a Cranium.
@pian0ballАй бұрын
I have got to get one of these. How does it do with a rat in front?
@ZanderCircuitryАй бұрын
@@pian0ball I only really have our rat-based circuit (cranium) to directly pair it with but I think it works really well. Especially with the clean blend function of the cranium which allows you to adjust how much the Siva is being boosted by the circuit

Always fancied the duecetone rat for stereo fun but the tart in me wants one standard black rat and on white limited edition not as flexible but would look as cool as…! Of the new lot the fat rat would be my pick 🤔

Thanks! Are you referring to the song playing in the background whilst I'm talking? If so that's an 'original' track I wrote for one of the temple demos (heavily inspired by just mashing together various surf rock riffs), check out the spring/tile demo on our channel for the temple! If you're talking about the first riff you see me playing, that is Surf Rider by The Lively Ones 😊

Oh my A trip through memory lane that I had almost forgotten about i would have at least 7 of those in my "unforgettable Dinosaur jr" songs. I need to revisit all those albums albums, and catch up from everything after 2007's Beyond But I have to say every fan needs to really listen to the first record, and Forget the Swan I was more into the fuzzed stuff when I first heard Dinosaur Jr - probably Freak Scene from Bug in 1988 - but later, found the 1st album, and it is really awesome.

It deserves mention that the guitar signal level is simply adjusted in level to achieve the same amount of clipping for each of the widely varying diode forward voltages. Without that explanation, it might be assumed the lower forward voltage of germanium by itself gives an advantage, which it of course does not.

I love playing the Out There riff but I dont have any offset guitars with "vibrato" tailpieces so i just have to approximate the leas parts with bends. I was born in April of 90' and im sm grateful that we grew ul with such great music. I also build guitar amps and pedals and restore vintage tube radios when the opportunity arises. I say that because im really starting to think my next project should be an offset guitar like a Jazzmaster (especially since ive always wanted one anyways). Great video!

Being from decades previous, I'd pretty much invert this list.

The third riff from Feel The Pain is a D minor barre chord which below the index finger barring on the second fret looks like an A minor open chord shape. Then go to an E open chord shape than you slide the D minor barre chord up from the second fret to the fifth and then you play an A open chord shape then you go back to the E open chord shape go to the barre chord shape on the fifth fret then return to the E open chord shape and then the A open chord shape. During the second time it's played play the whole thing twice

J has been my favorite guitar player ever since I first heard Dinosaur jr. He's the reason I started playing more than power chords, I thought solos were most of the time too showoffish and didn't really feel genuine, but he definitely changed my mind about that

Is this designed as a preamp to go into a power amp or is it to go through the clean channel of an amp?
@ZanderCircuitry9 ай бұрын
It's designed to be used as a regular distortion pedal (clean or dirty amp would be up to you, depends what sort of sound you're after) The 'power amp' in this instance is the chip that's used in the pedal, it isn't a stand alone replacement for the power amp section of an amplifier
