I would recommend staying in either Getsemini or the walled city. Boca grande is also another great option, but you have to take a cab to get to most sites - this is where I stayed and I enjoyed it.

The ones in the video are nurse sharks - which are harmless, the black tips are all over the place as well - also harmless! Amazing when you swim with them.
