Does this allow for a v8 conversion? Do i have to still use a nova specific pan and pump?

yes it allows for v8. just use v8 motor mounts. I am using a deep morose oil pan that has the notch to allow the drag link vs using a front sump style pan and kit for early novas.

competition engineering c3118 bolt on but we put a couple welds on it also but grade 8 bolts are good enough.

i know where there a 327/350 l79 built 10 yrs ago all numbers match except dist sitting on stand 10yrs never been cranked

All good video. But those rubber washers under the upper shock mounts will not work. The holes in the inner fender will get egged out. Thanks for sharing.

Why are ya putting lube on the back of the bearing shell??? Ur supposed to pop em in dry and then put assembly lube in the side that contacts crank and rod journals🤠👍🏽.. been building sbc engines since 1990 Awesome car though🤠👍🏽

Looks good, I am hopefully picking up this exact kit today for my 62. It has the same coil over kit with the double adjust setup. Now I just have to find someone that converted to rack and pinion with this subframe kit so I can figure out what else I need. I subbed to see how this car goes. Thank you.

Sprint boat Racing has been around a long time. First time I saw this type of boat racing was on the old Speed Vision ---> Speed Channel on cable TV back in the 1990's. And the racing was from Australia.

No actually real scary in any channel. Same reason swamp "airboats" are the wrong boats for like any river. No freeboard, no buoyancy and attract to much attention from other boaters. Dude in a 24' little twin bed cabin cruiser almost swamped me and a buddy who bought a Katrina salvage swamp boat we brought to st helens (home). At the launch a crowd gathered before we got it wet. Airboat is made of like 4 sheets of aluminum, 100 or so rivets and a very high mounted iron on iron vortech V8. The only buoyancy in boat is the fuel. Dude in cabin cruiser sees and hears me and Dave idling a straight piped airboat in river and swings over to have an innocent look. He executes a perfect pylon turn around us creating a wicked doubleup peak wake in center and swamped us in over 20' depth river. Luckily Dave insisted on tossing in a breadbox sized self contained automatic bilge pump. I jumped out of seat and shifted as much weight over bow because swamp came from back Dave put stick in WFO position and we barely make it to columbia city shoreline coming to rest on river Bottom in a foot of water because airboats are kinda not boats. They work best in sub shallow water lik 1"-3" inches depth. A Jet sprint boat is proa the worst thing in open water. No proportion for throttle, gas is ON (WIDE FU*KING OPEN) or idling. And your 5 pointed into seat..
