You shouldn’t be doing clean/jerks the day after squats. They both are big-body exercises that work legs. Do leg day every *other* day for max gains (48 hour rest between leg days)
@christoph3764 ай бұрын
there are no clean and jerks in this video, tho. Also with his numbers i feel like he knows what he is doing
@anacorreia80584 ай бұрын
@@christoph376 The second exercise WAS a clean and jerk. What are you talking about, lol? He just did a very heavy set with it, and only one rep
@anacorreia80584 ай бұрын
@@christoph376 And his numbers are high because he’s naturally got great physical genes. But with smarter training he’d be even bigger
@christoph3764 ай бұрын
@@anacorreia8058thats a strongman axel clean, which does involve the legs but is more reliant on upper body strength then a normal Olympic clean as you do not dip and front squat the weight. Also he push pressed the weight and not jerked it. Meaning he didn't enter a lunge or a squat, which takes a lot of legs out of the movement. So I guess he will be just fine to do is shoulder work with some leg involvement the day after squats ;)

Bro you do realise the founder of the bench press George hackenschmidt could bench 200kg plus. This was before synthetic testosterone was made. Many silver era bodybuilders were exceptionally strong without any gear usage.
