I painted early morning sun on the sea last week and seeing this was sooo helpful. Thank you.

Felicitaciones para genial artista, por tan hermosa tecnica y por el clima logrado en la obra.

Hidden gem. So interesting to see how u developed the scene motif texture light over time. Many artist are satisfied with the first ideas and then complete the task then missing the opportunity to go "into" the motif. It is easier to draw than to imagine and then draw again I guess. Patience

It is great watching how the painting transitions from just big shapes scrubbed in to the thicker brush strokes that make it look like a real painting

Mark, I absolutely understand about the "need" to paint. We go on family outings and I spend the whole time working out palettes in my head. Great interview, loved it!

Thank you. I found the discussion on size and pricing extremely interesting. I have the same debate in my head before every outing.

I had the pleasure of meeting May and her husband Russ and their host, (who was mine in 2021!), over dinner and it was so much fun! She is a gem and that is so obvious to all who listen to this podcast. Congratulations May and the PAE team!

Beautiful... How do you get the oils to flow like that on canvas? Sorry but a beginner at Wmo here
@siddharthpanchal7182 жыл бұрын
Probably added lots of medium or linseed oil to make paints flow like watercolor.

Thanks for posting this. I wasn’t able to attend the talk but it was very helpful to hear her interpretations of the paintings. Thanks for hosting such an amazing event. I had a great time painting and can’t wait to come back.

Love that. Probably the best lob of paint & wipe back then minimal fiddle at the end I've ever seen - and I only like about 5% of what I see on KZbin. Great job! Dunno how I got here tho! ;-)
