I’m shocked that I can only find one creepy video game music iceberg video on KZbin but this is definitely a really great one. I like how this felt more like a music playlist rather than the iceberg commentary videos I’m used to. Like while usually I prefer iceberg videos with commentary that I can listen to in the background, and if I were to ever make an iceberg video like this I would definitely add commentary in between each song, this video just being a compilation of music is great regardless and was surprisingly a great background listen while I was working on stuff. Phenomenal job my dude, this video deserves way more views than it currently has. I will say that I saw in the comments that you’re planning on making a remake of this video with more songs, and I want to suggest three songs for it. Firstly I wanna request “The Unknown Chase Music - Dead by Daylight” which is extremely self explanatory why it’s creepy once you listen to it since it’s literally a four part theme that plays as a scary flesh creature slowly runs closer and closer towards you. But I have two other requests that absolutely deserve to go into either the “Horror” tier or the “Stressful” tier. Those being “Jesus Loves Me - The Binding of Isaac” and “Hush (Jesus Loves Uke) - The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth”. Both songs serve the same purpose that being a creepy credits theme but both songs have extremely different vibes. The Flash Isaac version sounds outright demonic with it feeling like Satan himself is the one singing. While the Rebirth version sounds like a cult brainwashing song with glitchy drones playing throughout the song. Also both songs become even more creepy when you realize that it’s supposed to be a representation of Isaac singing while locked in his chest and slowly suffocating. While normally this would just be an interpretation of it. The devs confirmed that this is definitely what the song is supposed to be when they added a new remix of Jesus Loves Uke called “Jesus Loves Viggo” in the Repentance DLC where instead of a bunch of distorted adult voices singing, Isaac himself sings the song with him audibly slowly losing his breath and having more and more trouble singing as the song goes on. If you were to include all 3 that would be incredible but I doubt you would add a remix of an already existing song on the iceberg. But regardless, those main two songs definitely deserve to be in either the “Horror” tier or the “Stressful” tier. Sorry for such a long comment, I just get very passionate when talking about these things.

Thank you for the kind and detailed comment. I will definitly include your suggestions in the remake, once I get to work on it. I think that commentary wouldn't suit this video well, and honestly, I think that I wouldn't have that much to say about many of the songs.

Man, what a trip down memory lane! This is my peak nostalgia! Me and my brother played and replayed all these games as kids and we still jokingly reference them a ton by making Velociraptor noises and whipping out Mutant Insects' banger battle music when we least expect it. Right behind that these fights are obviously what we remember the most, they have subconsciously taught us to feel fear when a bus starts self-animating. The Ubisoft of today doesn't have BALLS to ever bring these bad boys back, they're too afraid, they'd rather feel safer releasing barren open world slopfest number 5732. ⁠@@WWNbroadcasts yeah exactly lmao. One was an ammeter horror game that while yes hasn’t aged very well, you could tell it was at least clearly made with as much love as the dated technology allowed. Sad Satan was clearly just made for the sake to be edgy with no real substance other than the idea that the game allegedly is illegal and allegedly has gore and cp in it depending on which version of the game you have. Like honestly the best iteration of Sad Satan is the one without any gore images because simply just roaming through distorted black and white hallways as creepy audio constantly plays in the background is downright terrifying despite being extremely simple and cheaply made. And when a random image pops on screen, instead of just actual horror images or other gross shit clearly meant for cheap shock value, instead it shows weird creepy confusing images that are at best mysterious and creepy, with the worst images instead having a horrible context such as showing mugshots of serial killers or pictures of Jimmy Savile who is also featured in the soundtrack with a snippet of one of his interviews playing on loop which becomes way more disturbing if you know who Jimmy Savile is and what horrible crimes committed. The clean version of Sad Satan is still very clearly just cheap shock value that makes it not very replayable after experiencing it once compared to the certified hood classic that is Slendytubbies which is still semi popular to this day for good reason lmao. But it’s at least a genuinely creepy and disturbing experience when you are not infecting your computer with an actual virus and being jumpscared with gore images. Some of the best kind of horror is when it’s extremely simple but plants seeds in the form of creepy visuals and audio which is why I say the clean version of Sad Satan is actually pretty good at making me extremely paranoid and uncomfortable, but all of that goes away when your game spams a bunch of gore images in your face which makes you more grossed out than terrified which the creator of Sad Satan doesn’t seem to understand. There’s a reason why Sad Satan is relegated to KZbinr analysis true crime videos instead of actually getting a proper fanbase like most horror games do such as Slendytubbies for example. I didn’t realize this comment was extremely long until reading it just now lmao but whatever I love talking about these kinds of things.
