Good vids no messing around, to the point. Sometimes the camera shot does not show what both hands are doing which means guessing by the viewer. Back on a 1995 GW and sidecar, its fun finding out and remembering at 72 years of age; not ridden since mid 20s.

Yes, that part is the same all across the board. The only difference is in the 88 to 2000 is I believe 88 through 90 had additional vacuum components because they had one more vacuum system than the rest. Other than that I think the only difference is our minor accessories and looks

@@Sleazy_rida I ordered a rebuild kit. even if it were gummed up it would still make a little pressure, right? the only force against the pedal is the spring and there's zero braking force front or back, pads are fine and slaves aren't leaking. gotta be a rolled or destroyed plunger seal right? If the roof doesn't have an overhang to keep the water off of it you might want to be concerned... Other than that if you're just concerned about while you're laying you can use an accelerator in the mix. I don't know who would carry it up there but you're masonry yard should have it on hand.

Wow. Unbelievable. None of those parts were replaced. Seems like he ran seafoam through it and called it a day. I have rebuild several carburetors and I am not a professional, none of that is rebuilt. My buddy just picked up a carb from him after charging 350 for a carb cleaning. Then the bike started sputtering out giving trouble and he took it back and then charged another 300. He told him he won't ever be using him again. Everything you showed is proof of negligence. Good luck hopefully someone gives you better service.

This video is HUGE for me. I have a collector box that basically broke (my fault -- I was trying to carefully move the muffler exhaust pipe on the right side, to shift it down out of the way when I was trying to get at the bolt for the Final Drive oil change... Pushed too hard and whoops! Snapped the collector box. DARN!!!! (Insert several swear words here...!) Thankfully I have a cadaver bike as well but I was stumped on how to get the collector box down without necessarily having to take the entire exhaust system down. Unfortunately, watching your video clarified that indeed the whole thing will have to come down; but -- #1 now I know; #2 I know what else is needed (exhaust pipe gaskets!, etc) to do the job correctly. Yup, more time wrenching, but I'll have this bike good as new when I'm done with it and hopefully will keep it on the roads for several more years with a little TLC. Thanks for taking the time to put this together for us weekend warriors! :-) Sure do appreciate it!

I didn't put a drip edge on because my concrete goes below The top course of brick at least a quarter inch to a half inch so in other words the cap is hugging the entire chimney. The band is secured because it is a self-clamping design that's why I showed how to make the bands first. When you get up there you just set the band on and then loosen the screws a little bit until it drops get it into place and then tighten the screws back up using the screws as a clamp mechanism

No, the 88 had seven vacuum systems and I believe they changed it to six in 1990. If the cap doesn't have the port don't worry about it but anyway the one that I have only hangs down into nothing as a release.
