at 11:07 what Paula actually says is ''ルックスじゃないでしょう。'' meaning ''it's not about looks''. I think the translator heard her say ''rukkusu'' and misheard it as ''sekkusu''. It's my best guess as to how they got this wrong. I think they made these subs when all they had to go on were lower quality recordings so it was harder to hear. I even showed this to my buddy in Tokyo and he said this was very clearly wrong and was stunned by this. I have just finished re-subbing the whole show and you can find the link to those files in my channel. Anyone is free to use them.

A month later, I finally finished the anime! This is hands down one of the best shows I've ever watched. My least favorite episode was still an okay one! I've never played PaRappa, so I checked this anime out of curiosity, and I'm so glad I did. While it was not successful at the time, I'm glad people like this care enough to archive this anime for all to see. Now I definitely gotta play the first game! My favorite characters were PJ and Paula ❤
