Checking in after the Celtics game. Man, imagine if this had been a Ron Holland's first 26 games discussion. In all seriousness, a few things: 1) 80% from the line right now after 26 games is actually about 2% above league average for Small Forwards. 2) After shaking off some rookie jitters, he's actually been shooting 35% from 3 in his last 10 games, and I think both he and the coaching staff don't want to run away from trying to get more comfortable shooting from outside. In fact, it's not just his 3-point shooting, he's been at 64% true shooting in that 10 game stretch as well. 3) I can occasionally see some rough shots inside the paint, but for the most part, he's actually been excellent. He's at 62.8% inside the paint on the season, which would place him in the top 15 just below Giannis, Onyeka Okongwu, and Santi Aldama if he averaged 20 minutes per game. And he's not even really a dunk merchant, as he has a lot of tough finishes, which suggests that his paint efficiency will get even scarier as he gets bigger and stronger. I think you can see that, particularly in recent games, he's really trying to score and not just throw BS shots up. I think that forces defenders to attack him even harder, which leads to him getting a better whistle than a lot of our players. Great discussion fellas, I look forward to more videos!

I can’t believe this is a question. Paolo is HIM. We don’t know what Cade is.

I love the rebounding and the defense from the team so far but if we wanna be successful we can’t miss so many 3s.

Right now after one game I’m wishing we would’ve got one of Cody or Matas. Ron is the epitome on High ceiling Low Floor. I think the other guys have a much higher floor.

Cade needs a combo of Beasley or Hardaway and Harris or Tecc19 in the starting lineup with Ausar being the defender. Cunningham Beasley Thompson Harris Duren

That's a good lineup bro. Nice balance of good outside scoring with a good defensive maker in Thompson. 👍

Stop it.. They have the same wingspan (6’9) Jaden has a 44 inch vertical, and runs a 4.2 40 which might be the fastest in the league.

Before the injury I thought Topic was going top four. Most likely the Spurs. Now I think they take Castle. I suppose they could still take Topic at 8. If both those guys develop a three point shot they'll be a devastating group with Victor and whichever young veterans the Spurs bring in.

Math is hard. Statistics are confusing even for people good at math. We are drafting almost exactly where math says we should be.

They forgot to mention our best five player groups had either Gallinari or Musicals at center instead of Duren.

A tale of two tapes for Duren. Offensively he was great. Showed foot work, post moves, had a great shooting percentage, and massively increased his free throw shooting. Defensively he was terrible. Average less blocks. Was always late on help side, and did a terrible job protecting the rim (Besides the 1st 2 games). He left much to desire on the defensive end.

He has to start shooting the basketball better. Particularly from deep. I know he's shown some improvement but it's still below average to the point that you can't just point to everybody else about the spacing issues. He's part of it. Defensively he is a sieve. I know defensive rating can sometimes be misleading but his defensive rating has been horrendous his entire career regardless of the lineup around him. These two things coupled with his inability to stay healthy and the fact that the team seems to take better care of the ball when he simply doesn't play are not good indicators of his future. The counting stats are there, but there are obvious flaws and and they've still seen zero success with year 3 coming to an end.
@scottwickett12739 ай бұрын
No, everyone should harrass him until he quits: he is the worst GM in the history of the sport and the team is totally fucked as a result. Nothing good can happen until he's gone.
