How did you get the nut off the motor that holds it into the plastic housing? It looks like there’s a key way or something in the center of it but I’m not sure what tool would go in to lock it so the motor doesn’t spin with the nut while loosening
@jdredd342 ай бұрын
Its been a year since i last touch it before i tossed it all in trash due to belt breaking issues. There is a large plastic nut that screws onto the end of the motor. You just bust the loose and finally off... and the motor should just sorta slip out. If its spinning the motor, its probably just rotted on there and just need to grasp the motor with hand and keep it still. Unless something changed over time in the desing. But for me, it was simply, remove the large plastic nut, and it came right out.

What kind of 60 foots? So I have an 03 regal with the Z3 kit. With th DA in sothern Oregon of 4,000', I ran consistant low 12's @118 mph with 2.115-2.2's. Running 17lbs of boost with 112. Any pointers? I dont have 1" chain just the updated chain that cost 80 bucks now. The rest is zzp parts 4340, 3000 stall( Not utilizing that) just feathering off the line. Thanks man.
@jdredd343 ай бұрын
In the end I was getting close to entering 1.4x range... i think best was 1.51 M&H slicks... at ~10psi. Cable mod, to lock the rear end suspension up. So no compression on launch / weight transfer. Tune timing table to where at staging, reduce timing... make it so virtually 0-1 degrees of timing. Can build boost and launch at 10 psi or more.. i was around 10psi of boost... Hold on to gas... heavy on the brakes... keep boost up and when light goes green just go WOT. No feathering or anything. And if got timing table right, time shoots back to normal a few feet out of rolling. An easier way is to use the IAT Temp/spark table. Set up a momentary switch you keep pressed. Inline with IAT sensor. Cuts IAT signal. Use that table to drop the timing down to nothing in the -39* column i think it is ? and once you launch let go of button, and IAT sensor works again, and timing goes back to normal.

They replaced them with flapper wheels. 2) Any kind of dirt trapped in there, leaves, pine needles, ect... dirty screens in baskets... threw it off.. really had to make sure it was nice and clean at all times. Either way, the local dump owns it now. After breaking belts all the time and finally ran out of them, i just chucked it away. Chinese junk in the end. Get what ya pay for.....

Wish was sleeping. Problem was trying to use the PCM tuning as A way to build boost at the line. Basically between 2000-3000 rpm ( somewhere around that ) it would drop the timing to 0 or 1* of timing. This way could build boost to ~10psi at the line. But had to do it kinda slowly and stand on the brakes as hard as possible, and try to watch boost gauge and RPM gauge. As if you took off to low of RPM, it would bog. If to high of RPM, would blow tires off. Because to low would cause a second or two of no timing while rolling out, while to high of RPM, would break the lights and blow tires off as it would raise timing back and car would start to pull away. New setup, is momentary / switch button activated and trans brake. Just need the entire new car setup to stay together long enough to actually track it....
