@Def_LyfeКүн бұрын
My man, I appreciate your comment and would love to help you out. First, congrats on going down the pathway of becoming a CPA because it can be a very financially rewarding career. It allowed me to be a homeowner at the age of 26 and make over six figures at a young age. I’ve been in the industry for over 15 years and they have been saying accounting will be irrelevant and taken over by AI. AI does pose a threat to the lower level accountants that do basic accounting functions but it can never replace a bright hard working, intelligent Accountant at the senior / manager level. Go for it my friend and work your tail off. Wish you the best!

Best advice is to go to a good CDL school where they really teach you! Don’t try to save money when it’s come those cheap school “4 weeks for only $1000-3000” I made that mistake, I am 23 years old Asian American born and raised in California I come from a good family who paid for my schooling. Just don’t go to those cheap school because those instructor and owner don’t really care about their students It took me nearly 4 months to finish my schooling due to Instructor who don’t care about you only want you to reenroll another month or 2.

Worked as a truck driver for Coca Cola for 9 years. It was tough work. Money was good, but it was brutal on my body. I left in 2019 and my back, and knees are shot from all the lifting, kneeling, jumping on and off the truck all day. They pay you by the case, so you’re basically forced to rush. Working out in the rain, snow, heat, cold. Definitely a job for a guy in his 20’s and early 30’s. If you’re over like 35, don’t even bother.

plenty of local within 100 mi radius truck driving jobs out there home daily weekends off or at least two consecutive days a week off. And you're kind of overemphasizing on everything you speak about brother it's really not that bad LOL. This sounds specific to your area. I live in California and there are literally companies that won't have you drive when you need to chain up (they'll have you stay in a hotel or wait somewhere in your sleeper cab) . My first 3 jobs were hauling tomatoes in doubles, waste water in 53 tankers, then after only 4 months of each of those then got on at a P&D/LTL place - each job home daily weekends off. Plenty of drop and hook 53 footer local jobs in California that hire new drivers also. Me personally I recommend anyone to go through with getting their class A. It was good to hear you mention that it's something you can always have to fall back on as you can always find work as a truck driver when other things in life don't fall through. Had my son get his class A also for exactly that reason.

Well spoilers alert there be 100 other ones all hyped up ready to make the huge dollars. You would need to be specialized. Preferably your customers. Know your equipment in and out ready to overhaul engine at minutes notice. Doing hours of meaningless book keeping not getting a pennys worth pay for complete meaningless mindless tasks incase you get dot audited, irs audited or if accident your life turned upside down because your driver cant tell from green to red light.

Right before I turned 30 and was about to give up on life with only $5,000 to my name. My Asian homie jokingly told me to be a truck driver so I don’t have to deal with ppl no more and make hella money. I did my research and long story short, passed my CDL A class. I’ve been doing this for 3 years now and let me tell you it’s the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. @@wunna5680 take the doubles/triples, hazmat and tankers tests B4 you are issued your class A, that way when it's issued you already have your endorsements. Hazmat will take the time for your background to clear with TSA but it'll be on your license and valid unless you aren't cleared for some reason. Might as well get your twic card at the same time. None of this is hard and that's how I did it so I had all endorsements and my twic once I passed my DMV test. You'll be limited to single trailer dry van for the most part if you have nothing but your class A and can't even enter a port or rail yard to do container hauling without your twic. There are many beginner jobs that require one or 2 endorsements, and none that I'm aware of reimburse you for your trucking school other than mega carriers that just pay for it all but require minimum 1 year contracts to do otr for them.

you said in your last video that a CDL is a "Golden Ticket". Yeah, maybe if someone is LUCKY. Most of these companies that even hire new people treat them like crap and use them for slave labor (very short runs when we are paid by the mile / Having to go all over the place FOR FREE to find an empty trailer / very little to no detention or inclement weather pay. The list goes on and on. It's either do what they say or quit. Most companies lie.. they DO NOT pay drivers for all work

After the first few fatalities and there WILL be one at least where a family and child are killed by a self driving truck. There will be a nation wide ban on self driving trucks. There will be a backlash by the people. Insurance will skyrocket, then there's the power grid problem. Not to mention any fires that will happen.
