Just a little more umph/accent from the guitar @0:57 (don't leave the bass alone to do the accents) at those parts as the song up to that point is pumping but then it sinks. It might be how INXS did it but you are a trio and it sounds bit "thin" - push the guitar at those parts and I can say that INXS has never sounded so full played by three dudes! B R A V O !

I can hear that, but as a trio that would take quite a bit for me to sing and hit some sort of volume boost on that part all at the same time. I've messed around with switching to gain or swapping pickups for the section, but it doesn't work as well and complicates the song. So say la'vie

@@ConniptionFits If you would allow me to suggest another approach (with my utmost respect to the performance of the song your chaps and of course your ability to sing lead and play - I can't walk and breath at the same time let alone sing and play)... As the song is more or less in one guitar voicing (yes, tap dancing was never my thing as well) how about raising the overall volume of the guitar through the patch (I see you use some kind of a guitar modeler if I am not wrong) and control the volume dynamics trough the volume pot? If I am not mistaking you are playing a PRS so it would be much easier than to tap dance looking for a patch with just some 3-5dB boost. It does take some practice but it is worth, trust me 🤪 Still, killer cover!
