I am on a scottish facebook group that people born and raised in Scotland claim that kilts dont exist anymore there, and we should stop believing in that fairytale. Then i see this video and wonder what they are talking about when they are alive and well. There is NOTHING better on this planet than handome men in kilts. Absolutely NOTHING.

Dearest Dieb, I just discovered Rapalje today. I have been binge watching your band's videos, and I happened to select this video and wept for both of us. I am ever so sorry for your illness. Long covid is devastating and incapacitating. I, too, have suffered this illness since March of 2020. In my case, I have spells when my stomach is bloated, and I get so short of breath that I start hyperventilating and have to focus on slowing my breathing and relaxing my stomach so that I can release the air. The odd thing about this is that it took more than a year before I realized that the two were tied together. Initially, I thought that I was just having shortness of breath. In any event, it is incapcitating. My father always said I was a force of nature, but now it is a struggle for me to do ordinary things like taking a shower, making our bed, or doing laundry. I can't sing anymore. My diet is very bland and limited. At times, I am afraid to eat because I am bloated and short of breath. I am unable to walk very far, and I have been reduced to riding in a wheelchair when I go places where walking for a distance is required. I am even unable to play with my grandchildren the way I would if l could. I know playing the violin and performing is in your heart and soul, but so to is life and nature. We must remember that at least we survived covid, and we still have our lives, our family, and friends, and the beautiful Earth we share. I find I have a greater appreciation for the simple pleasures in life: time with my fam, a bright sun shiny day, a gentle rain storm, a thunderstorm, blooming flowers, music, a cup of tea, and on occasion a cup of Fench vanilla coffee. I have a motto that I try to live by: a grateful heart will always be happy. I will keep you in my prayers, Dieb. 🙏 Much love and blessings to you and your bandmates. ❤ Thank you for filling my heart and soul with your amazing music and talent. I hope the band will continue to record videos and perform.❤ I almost forgot to share a KZbin channel that I love and find helpful for sleep and just relaxing. Stephen Dalton Sleep Stories. He is an incredibly talented Irish storyteller who I love dearly.❤
