Super cool, thanks for sharing! That girl could sing!! I saw this tour in NY. Don't think she played "No Rules" .. would have remembered that, this being my favorite Tiffany tune. It was just a b-side here, wonder if it was a bigger song in Japan. Tiff sang the shizz out of hard rock.. so happy she eventually partnered with the l.a. glam rock players to make some great stuff in recent years.

Was it at Westbury or another venue? Any specific recollections?

@@TonyCo1962 Jones Beach, with New Kids opening! Last night of their tour, I believe. (She then went out and opened for them for a tour, if I'm not mistaken). I actually audio recorded the show and have it in a closet somewhere :D

@daytube dude I just checked out your channel and watched a couple of your videos. I absolutely love it. I see it's been 6 years since you posted any of your own stuff, and I'd love to see you post a new one. So I'm not a musician and I have no musical talent so my comments are coming from that perspective. What matters to me is do I like the sound of the person's voice and do they nail the emotion of the song. Yes and yes with you. You definitely sing what you feel. It means a lot to me that someone with your talent praises Tiffany, because she was mercilessly mocked by not just the musical press of the day, but the public as well, for not writing songs or playing instruments, and was frequently characterized as an average or below average vocalist. I was generally unaware of Tiffany during her late 1980s run because I was about 10 years older than her Target demographic, having been born in 1962. I just became a fan within the last year, but I have read a lot about what was written about her back in the day. It was one of those things where KZbin recommended a video which then led to another video and then another. If you really want to get a sense of her true ability, search out her cover of the Otis Redding classic these arms of mine on here and tell me what you think. KZbin is inconsistent with notifying us about replies, so please keep an eye on our conversation if you don't get a notification and I'll do the same.

Does anyone remember a music video where a man with a boombox head was stealing batteries from a supermarket, was chased by two policemen, and brought the batteries back home to his boombox headed family with kid(s). I’m looking for that video/song for ages now. Thank you for any hints and suggestions.

It sounds like you're describing the music video for "Boombox" by The Lonely Island featuring Julian Casablancas. In the video, a man with a boombox head goes through various adventures, including stealing batteries and being chased by the police. Link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqrZdoyBh6tof6M

I'm curious about the song at 1:13:09 because it's "The Beat Goes On" covered by Britney Spears for her debut album released in January 1999...yet this is 1998 and the song is used...it sounds like a potential demo? Because of the voice is not her.
