Man you got get ya a foot an knee ascend or buddy they are game changers
@martialanatomy3875 күн бұрын
It does make a huge difference you're right. I’m still learning both SRT and DRT but we have a set of knee and foot ascenders that I do use for SRT on the next tree. They don’t want me to only learn SRT so this tree was for the reps.

Thus is the plague of the fitness industry! People trying to reinvent the wheel and sell it to you. Focus on the eccentric portion of any movement and you'll get the same results..

Nice video. I do lat pull downs differently on the Synapse. First, I use an underhand grip. Second I face the anchor (located at the top of a door) and bend at the hip. Third, I lean away from the anchor using my body weight, maintaining a nice spine angle. Finally, I also use a resistance band in conjunction with the Synapse. The band operates in parallel to the Synapse. So there is a lot of starting tension on the working arm, and tension throughout the move.
@martialanatomy387 Жыл бұрын
Great tip! the great part of the synapse is you can control the angle of attack and drive with your elbows which is key to getting activation in the lats, keep up the great work!!
@mreverybody11507 ай бұрын
Interesting. I noticed some are adding springs to their setup with the Synapse to create starting tension.

How do you like the synapse-ccr? Looking to possibly get one.
@martialanatomy387 Жыл бұрын
Hey Ken!! Yes I would totally recommend the Synapse. Its so small I throw it in my backpack anywhere I go, and anytime I show it to athletes they can find some specific application for eccentrics in their training. Have you seen our full video on the Synapse CCR here on the channel? Ive been lucky enough to team up with Raj the creator of the Synapse on a few occasions with great results.

Why you just dont do all the same movements but instead of letting the mace fall to the acceleration of gravity, you instead do the same movement but slowly and controlled… to much potential wasted buy using momentum…
@martialanatomy387 Жыл бұрын
Awesome, what weight do you usually use for your mace practice? The purpose of this warmup is to get the body moving, there is plenty of use for static holds with the mace. In this case it's more about getting rotation and counter rotation of the trunk to prepare for BJJ class.
