I'm so glad she decided bluegrass was for her. I've had the pleasure of seeing Alison many times through the years. Long before AKUS, she was just a kid but you knew she would be a force.

Love that drop d flat picking! Never thought I live to see the day there was a $4000 Yamaha guitar. I bought one in the early 70’s for $38. An FG-160… a plywood guitar but it got the job done. Man how times have changed. Good picking my friend

The story on this band is anger. Retribution. Revenge and an "us agent's them" message that will have just about everyone driving over the cliff with both needles in the neck. The harmony and impeccable Joni like arrangement add to the suicide House burning at your feet. So much of the ballad of doom is set in a Blues backed offence that is obvious in each song to provide a payback to the past. Such a feminine sound of ritual and design that one almost forgets the true message. Even the friendliest of words combined with the talent of these wonderful Musicians leave a dark and distorted image of doom and gloom no matter what the actual song had us thinking. Maybe something Positive can happen to these Ladies to turn the table and make us all enjoy. Until then I hope you find happiness in something.

That's crazy! What, they get on the gondola, get set up, perform their song, and the ride ends just as they finish. Brings a whole new meaning to "one take". (Unless they rode up and down a few times...)
