I have the non pro version. I certainly find a huge amount of iron in the fields around me. I have used it on the beach and in fields. I find coins quite easily. For a beginner like me, its a nice unit.

I have an undated buffalo nickel but the buffalo side has a black substance on part of the buffalo. It might be paint. Will the peroxide-white vinegar solution take that off? What do you recommend?
