Yeah I bought a 2004 Yamaha vino 50cc with 1000 miles and I don't think it's the transmission slipping for sure it's just how it's made I guess just like when people say 2 stroke engines always smoke 😂 no if they smoke it's because it needs some maintenance those engines run clean all the time

My Ruckus has been sitting for over a year, got a new battery, new spark plug, new air filter. It starts if I spray Starter fluid up the intake port but wont stay idling. Is there another way to clean the carb without taking the bike apart. This process looks way above my skill level.

I just recently got a 2009 vino 125 and it’s used up but to my knowledge it’s stock but it easily hits 60 - 70

You left the restrictor in??!!

Be careful with that first washer - the one that engages with the kick starter clutch- after the first nut on the variator spindle. It’s dished, so it only sits one way. If you don’t pay attention, there’s a 50-50 chance you’ll get it wrong and grind the fins off the variator. (lol sorry if I got the words wrong).

Vino forever! Maybe not the fastest or the best looking scooter, but definitely good mileage 🎉

You noted the importance of using a torque wrench but the one you recommended only goes down to 10ft-lbs, which is about 50% higher torque than the 10Nm spec for those bolts.

Always always always use non-ethanol fuel and you will likely not have to do this crap.

I am British, I currently live in Germany and have also lived in Czech Republic (Czechia) for 6 months and Poland for 2 months, so I'm maybe more informed than the average tourist. The buzzword for the video is "I don't know anything about where we are, but let's go", so it's not an informative tour guide really (some of the mining museum comments were erroneous), but it is a video of very pretty locations.

I still have my '03 Ruckus ( 2 of them ) It's a real finnicky Carb. on them .. & fuel system I have some ATVS also & what I did on one was take off the factory problem VAC operated Carb & replaced it with a simple ' old style ' manual Choke carb. .. removed & or blocked ALL that extra new-age control crap .. now it's just gas into the carb .. and go go GO .. never been happier --- I'm thinking if I oughta do that with my Ruckus ,, I'm gonna search for some old style mini- bike carbs ,, and maybe do the thing

Hello, can you help me. I own a Yamaha Vino bike. It has a problem that I cannot solve, which is when I brake with the front brake, the tire of the bike bends to the right and rubs against the body of the bike, knowing that the shock absorber is new and working.
