The voice and phonetic intonation is somewhat reminiscent of his own brother's (from documentaries around). Did he also sing? The title is also hinting.

Right at the end of the last programme in the series, they did a little farewell number, with words set to the theme tune of the kids' show Bill and Ben: Goodbye John, Goodbye George, Ringo, Paul, Ringo, Paul, Rodney Burke.

I remember this, an odd, but adorable relic of the 2000s decade, and early Internet animation. I like how it looks and sounds very reminiscent of all the 1960s and 70s cartoons about groups of characters that played in a band. Stuff like "The Catanooga Cats" were being rerun on the "Boomerang" TV channel at the time, so it's understandable why they went that direction to appeal to kids watching those retro cartoons. Overall, it's very charming, has nice animated visuals, gives personality to the Otter characters, and has a cute catchy song. In a time where almost every cartoon has to be edgy, violent, goofy, sitcom-like, and such it's nice to see something more simple and innocent.

This made a respectable try for the top 40 spending 13 weeks in the Hot 100 but faltered at #51. It did get decent airplay in my hometown of Phoenix (thank you KRIZ & KRUX radio) in 1972.

One of the best pop songs ever written and composed! I was born in the late fall of 1978. My older cousin had two .45 records of You Are the One by the Sugar Bears! One was never played! She would play all of her 45 records from the 1960's and 1970's and I would play them over and over again! This is one of the songs I [played over and over again. She gave me both of the 45's. I still have them. One still has never been used at all. The one that was played all the time is good but not this pristine and clear! Thank you very much for posting and sharing this great recording! It should have been a number one hit!

I still have many of my 45s dating back that far. The biggest thing is to never play them on a bad needle or one that has a lot of mileage on it.

They should’ve made a TV series featuring the Otter Pops Then we would know what they would sound like I know sir isaac lime would have a british accent, louie bloo raspberry would have a french accent, and poncho punch would probably have a hispanic accent (but he could speak both english and spanish)

A song that I've been looking for since 1969. I thought that I would never hear it again but here it is. You might remember in 1969 the rumor was going around that Paul was dead. To burn the fire a little more this record was made. Of course it turned out to be a false rumor forv5 days but this song was stuck inside minds of many people. Created by Bob Mitchell & Michael Green from WTIX-690 AM, record promoter Bob Robin and vocal by Louisana’s Lenny Capello and burned the WTIX phones off for those 5 days before the real Paul told the world that it was only a rumor.
