I find that the Churches have lost the Language of humbleness, we can describe ourselves for example through the blood of Christ, but we have to be careful not to turn around about ourselves. God turns the Heart Holy which is beautiful, but the God inside us cleans us with the blood of Christ, giving the credit not to ourselves but to Jesus works not our works. I have no idea what you are talking about as far as the cross-stitch story, but I thought add to what you were saying

Pastor, thank you for the message today. Watching my spouse struggle with sickness and then pass away. I was so lost! It was only by the grace of God and renewing my love for Jesus that I was able to get through one day at a time. It’s through the love of Jesus I know peace and joy and the most beautiful love of all. The love that comes from Him. I share this with anyone who asks how I managed.
