Where are your headers and sill supports? I peaked over your shoulder into the house and I couldn't see any.

@@denisewilson8367 hello, its a post and beam built structure, so the beams carry the roof load and doesn’t require a header. The wall lower seals are supported every 4 foot which is enough for the 2x6 to carry the little bit of load it has. The post and beams carry the heavy loads. Its sort of a hybrid barndo. It allows me to build most of it while still having the camper inside. Its all just something I came up with. Its probably not a recommended way to build a structure, but it is working well for me. Its already held up to a season of rough weather.

They both got adopted by the other adult squirrels. I see them occasionally, but they don’t care to come visit. I fed them for about 6 weeks and they were able to go with the other squirrels.

He's little, he needs food for weeks, we use dog milk and goat milk . Keep him warm and bundled up.

When they come up to people that's because they are asking you for help. The only time they will do that is if something happen to the mom. When they go for days with out her is when they venture out to seek help from people.

Fox valley squirrel milk is the best can only order online. A temp substitution from Petco is powder PetAg goats milk esbilac puppy milk replacer that contains both pre & probiotics and sugar water (good for dehydration & if he get diarrhea). He’s probably 6-8 wks and still needs milk and solid foods as well for weaning up till 12 wks. I just rehabilitated a 7 day squirrel after a Hurricane when he fell off tree and mom never came for him .

There’s excellent stuff online. We are on day 2 with a 4wk old. Learn the dehydration test and get pedialyte unflavored if possible. They can’t digest formula unless hydrated. These cannot supply own body heat until after eyes open. So you have to keep it warm. Too much to list here, but this is quite a commitment. I hope you saved this little guy. I would guess you are ready for squirrel blocks for him to knaw on its best they get this before any other solid food. This is the best info I’ve found in one spot. I think you have to feed it puppy formula you get from a pet store with a dropper. Also you need to make him a nest in a cage or crate indoors with soft warm bedding. A little guy like that may need feeding through the night. Weigh him and call a wildlife sanctuary or a vet to ask how often/how much to feed him. You should let him out of his cage during the day to let him run around with his cage open in case he wants to rest. They are a little work, but you will have a friend probably even after you release him into the wild later.

theyb like bannana alvacado poweder mil that mixes with water give every 2 hrs or around there he or she will be your best friend after 6 weeks just stick with the milk for 4 weeks. keep warm alittle box with cut up linin or towls
