I hv bought an external mic and want to connect to my canon 550D. However, after I connect the wire to the mic jack, it seems like doesn't work. First of all, is there a sound control in 550D?

Color grading will need some work. Get you monitor setup dialed and the image is way to sharp. You can maybe tune it down a bit in camera otherwise while editing. Good luck

I have one OLED C2 monitor. One aces color, correct monitor. Plus an old 1080 P 10 bit monitor. They have all been color corrected with the spider color corrector. I think I’m just learning how to color correct better. However, what’s on my monitor what exported there is a small slight difference and what it looks like but I haven’t figured out why.

@@MediaUnlocked your grade is very much off in that case. I suggest you look into it. Import a photo of yourself in your set from your smart phone and you'll see the difference next time

Hi, I ordered 2 Oben FRM 7-L rails, one for the "y" axis, the other for the "x" axis. When taking macro photos, would you recommend taking a photo at a certain length, then side-to-side photos, then move forward, take a photo, then side-to side photos? Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Trying to follow your instructions, I came to the part to erase images. Not knowing which to do, (you were vere fast) I hit erase all images. SO all my pictures were erased. I guess I screwed up the protect function, because when I tried to erase one picture, and it said protected. Right now, i'm screwed

If you had a walking / touring photography class, I would sign up! I love that you gave the information and just that. No loud talking, exaggerated excitement or extra commentary. Your explanations where simple enough that with the video, audio and CC on, I was able to follow along. I enjoyed watching and learning what this camera I have had for over 10 years can do, that I never did get up to get my camera! Much of this I learned through the boring read of the manual and just looonnnnggg learning curve. Looking forward to going through all (3) with camera in hand to refamiliarize and learn without the painful and discouraging learning curve!!! Your video was posted 12 years ago, but it is so relevant for the person who is taking the camera out of the box 'today'.

First of all, this is a fantastic video. This is my first flash and I have NO idea what I am doing. I've got this exact same model I'm seeing a couple of differences. Could you please help me? For example, at just about the 5 min mark when you are going over the mm, you mentioned that you could just set it to those two lines and let the camera do it for you. As I am scrolling, I'm not seeing that option. Would you happen to know why? Do I have it set up wrong? Thank you in advance for any help.

7 minutes in before you get to how to control the output. Maybe start with a quick start guide so that people just needing to know how to do the basics get what they need instead of starting with an advanced menu that nobody’s ever going to use? Lol

The problem was the camera update. I have an FS7 and was having card problems until I updated the firmware, it fixed it. So the issue was the camera, not the cards My cards worked fine once the update was done.

After doing all the balancing and thinking I had it just right, I turned on the Crane and it went unlevel. Tried several times, but same result, same spot it went to. Taking it back to Best Buy.

Thanks for the review. I have the PerGear CFe T-A cards for few weeks now. What I found was the formatting speed was taking ~8s which was very slow when comparing with a 512K SDXC UHS-II V60/V90 cards that took only ~3s. Just last week I updated the firmware on A1 to V2.0 and the formatting speed is now ~3s so I am guessing that Sony's firmware updates also included some compatibility support for the PerGear CFe T-A card like how Adobe would update the compatibility list on cameras & lenses through software updates.
