Tries the Por Larrañaga Galanes just now and was not good. Tasted like hay, quite spicy and mid to strong. Very very slight hint of woodiness, cedar, but not much else. Maybe mine was too young. Not sure but massive let down.

Superb range. You know I think you’re both half wits imagining non existent “notes”. but this board was got me watching you a year ago. I wish you would talk more about smoking and less about notes.
@PalmaCigar4 күн бұрын
🤣🤣🤣 “Flavours”. Ever hear the saying, “ When you’re explaining you’re losing”? Give it a rest lads. There are well seasoned cigar smokers watching, how about you take that on board? Notes are an American invention. They would have you believe that a New World cigar and a Cuban cigar all taste of leather spice coffee and cream, but it’s just impossible.
@Havanaaclue4 күн бұрын
Por Larranaga is not a flavoured cigar. The only thing you taste is burning Cuban tobacco. There is no coffee, leather, cream etc. Notes are for uninteresting people to try and sound interesting. At a real herf, smokers just talk about cigars. Notes (not to mention tee shirts) are for amateurs. You guys are top of league.

The greatest trick KZbin ever pulled was convincing low level cigars smokers that Notes exist. They are a fallacy.

Come on guys. Notes are a lie. It is not possible for Cubans and New Worlds to taste different yet have the same “notes”. It’s an American invention that you have fallen for. High tier cigar channels NEVER mention notes. Why?
@MrsGargled18 күн бұрын
You're wasting your time. Sautter, Kirby and the Shahakians keep it real. These two lads aren't just there yet.

I would come to a cigar meet up. I used to review cigars on YT, god....must be 12yrs ago and channel was deleted by youtube for some reason and never bothered to try again until recently so may try it again. Would be good to have a chat about some cigars

On a side note, the RG perlas is probably the best tasting minuto format Cuban cigar in the market. If you cant find any out there its becos i bought them all, 😂😅

Im new to cigars. Went into a local cuban cigar shop here and chose a Partagas D4 purely based on the smell. Had no idea about the brand or strength. Best smoke ive had so far. Love Partagas, the complexity of flavours, the evolution throughout was so much more sophisticated than any other cigar I'd smoked to date.

You guys have done a great job expressing the notes and overall presentation of this beautiful cigar. I have bought several boxes of these and I must admit it’s my very favorite cigar. The notes are superb and delicious until the end definitely on the high side for every day smoking for most people but my philosophy is if you have the means don’t deprive yourself it definitely worth every cent. Cheers 🥂

🥳🥳🥳. Bingo! White pepper. 🤣🤣🤣. What a load of old tosh. Watch Sautter, Kirby, Foulkes or Sahakians. They NEVER mention notes, because they are nonsense.

If someone asked me "what does a decent Cuban taste like" , I'd give them a RASS with 5 plus years of age. Fantastic cigar.

If Cubans are different from New World in terms of taste and flavour, how come the "notes" are all the same then? Is the spice note on a Ramon, the same as the spice note on a Davidoff, and so on? You can't have it both way lads.
@Burley_BertАй бұрын
You need have both before you can determine that. New world Cigars are very different, much like wine from France and California are very different. Hopefully you get to try both and see what people are talking about.

You are burning up the cigar by toasting the foot directly! You did a V cut on a pig tail cigar!
@pankinyekАй бұрын
...I paired it wit Leffe(just by chance) and I agree, you could pair it with just about anything. Flavour is rich enough to carry itself next to any drink.

I am smoking this right now (towards the end already) and I wanted to hear what others think of it . I absolutely LOVE this cigar! Completely agree on tasting notes. Expecially creaminess, salt and rich flavour. Fantastic stick.

Purchased 5 of these when i was in Germany, smoked one, very nice, the quality control is poor, every one is thicker, shorter , different colours, but I really enjoyed this cigar, I payed 6 euros in Germany and well worth it. Great video 👍🏻
