Hello Bruce. I recommend unhooking the factory sub. I did and am with its hooked up still and they canceled each other out.

So glad that the oil consumption on my 2005 BMW was down to valve stem seals and the PCV membrane! I changed those components (which was labor intensive, but cheap DIY)! Dealing with piston rings is a nightmare! God bless mate!

Hey Bruce. I don’t have an amplifier in the trunk of my A5 facelift sportsback B8.5 MMI 3G plus. Is that built into the module? No B&O bit as I have got a sub woofer option I am thinking amp is built into the head unit? Can I install this and make it use an external amp?

Yes, use copper plugs and change them every time you change the oil, 2500-4000 miles. Soak/clean the intake and valves on a direct injection engine every oil change. Also clean and lubricate as many sensor o-rings, cap seals, and suspension bushings as possible. Every 3rd oil change, flush and fill coolant, or switch to a waterless coolant, bleed brakes/clutch, and power steering until it's all new fluid. Check spare tire pressure. Clean hood, trunk, door, sunroof weatherstripping, and condition/lube. Record everything on a notepad and keep it in the glove box or trunk. Take the time and effort, and the car will run better and last longer.

I did the same thing. Truly straight piped was way to loud. Bought a flowmaster super 10 and it made it a little deeper but was way too loud. Right now im running a 4 inch total flow resonator and a 12 inch evil energy muffler. Its still a bit loud but is much better. I plan on keeping the total flow but trying a magnaflow or dynomax chambered muffler

Hi what can a bad fuel injector that causes lean fuel trims more at idle be stuck open or nit opening on time. Im thinking its just my cylinder 3 since its only one misfiring intermittently.

P0206 is the code I got twice so far in the last 3 days. On cold start it turns engine light off and goes away after a while. Bothe times pointed to 6 cylinder. Is that likely bad injector or wiring

Thanks for the Tuning tips! I’m using Maestro7 as well. Did you have trouble with cold starts after you put the IE intake manifold on? I did an intake runner flap delete and cold starts are rough. Also I put S4 injectors in. Can’t find a good idle tuning area in Marstro? Your car sounds beautiful btw!

The TDI VW's will trigger a boost higher than normal code and limp mode the car. I would do research for any car before making those type of adjustments because the ECM does have parameters and compares how much boost it is getting, vs how much it calculated.

Both of those steel braided hoses are flowing out. No air is returning to the crankcase. Your just venting to atmosphere wich makes me jealous.

Does this effect anything else on the car like any memory or settings in the vehicle? Or electronics ect. Thanks Much appreciated
