Another Happy Birthday, It Can Never Be The Same and A Boy I Never Knew on the next album? Wow. I love all three of those songs. This will be the third time they have recorded Boy for an album.

I really appreciate him doing this. I know a lot of artists don't like explaining their songs very much, but I think he was really eloquent doing it.

That’s really interesting that he talks about the mixing of this album being layered and very particular as opposed to filling everything to the brim which makes sense in terms of how Lost World compares to the last few records and as well as the drums for this album because it is without a doubt the best work Jason Cooper’s done for The Cure.

Do I Wanna Know? Arctic Monkeys Have you got colour in your cheeks? Do you ever get that fear that you can't shift The type that sticks around like summat in your teeth? Are there some aces up your sleeve? Have you no idea that you're in deep? I dreamt about you nearly every night this week How many secrets can you keep? 'Cause there's this tune I found That makes me think of you somehow And I play it on repeat Until I fall asleep Spilling drinks on my settee (Do I wanna know) If this feeling flows both ways? (Sad to see you go) Was sorta hoping that you'd stay (Baby, we both know) That the nights were mainly made For saying things that you can't say tomorrow day Crawling back to you Ever thought of calling when you've had a few? 'Cause I always do Maybe I'm too busy being yours to fall for somebody new Now, I've thought it through Crawling back to you So, have you got the guts? Been wondering if your heart's still open And if so, I wanna know what time it shuts Simmer down and pucker up I'm sorry to interrupt, it's just I'm constantly on the cusp Of trying to kiss you I don't know if you feel the same as I do But we could be together if you wanted to (Do I wanna know) If this feeling flows both ways? (Sad to see you go) Was sorta hoping that you'd stay (Baby, we both know) That the nights were mainly made For saying things that you can't say tomorrow day Crawling back to you (crawling back to you) Ever thought of calling when you've had a few? (You've had a few?) 'Cause I always do ('cause I always do) Maybe I'm too (maybe I'm too busy) Busy being yours (being yours) To fall for somebody new Now, I've thought it through Crawling back to you (Do I wanna know) If this feeling flows both ways? (Sad to see you go) Was sorta hoping that you'd stay (Baby, we both know) That the nights were mainly made For saying things that you can't say tomorrow day (Do I wanna know?) Too busy being yours to fall (Sad to see you go) Ever thought of calling, darling? (Do I wanna know?) Do you want me crawling back to you? Uh

Amazing and great to see him so comfortable with himself. He really went all in in doing interviews go. And he seems so at ease. After over 40 years he has learn to co exist with fame instead of working so hard against. But he has done it his way. I so appreciate if him letting us get such a in depth behind scene look at his process.

It makes me sad to hear him say those things about Bloodflowers... I love that album so much and Watching Me Fall is one of the greatest songs EVER WRITTEN and of course the title track and the way it all flows and builds and tells this simple sounding story but it's actually an extremely deep, obscure, convoluted mess of a concept to try and articulate with emotional clarity but he totally pulled it off. The first time I heard that album was actually one of the most intense first listens I've had with a Cure album, it just hit me right away ❤❤❤ I think it made a fine Part 3...
