Do you know of a good place in Barcelona where we can get a paella with no fish or seafood (I have an allergy to them). I was able to find a chicken one they made me in Valencia that had vegetable broth instead of fish but I can’t seem to find one in Barcelona looking at restaurant menus online.

Yes! You have the vegetarian paella! In meson Barceloneta I’m sure they have it or in the paella experience secret garden as well :)

no mention of the 'chusma' (maghrebi lowlifes) living in the hood!? strange bias to idealize this sometimes dodgy area. AND it's not medieva, more like the 1700.

I still have a question: if I pay with a contactless bank card when entering, I noticed in your video that you mentioned I shouldn’t tap it again when exiting. I’m wondering, how do they calculate how much to charge me if they don’t know how far I’ve traveled?
@PickaPictour5 күн бұрын
You mean contactless metro card, not credit card. We only have one fixed price is zone 1, so it’s always the same price :)

Could not find RCD. Found this instead. The official registry of educational centers in Spain is called the "Registro de Universidades, Centros y Títulos" (RUCT), which translates to "Register of Universities, Centers and Qualifications" in English; it is a public administrative register that lists all recognized universities, institutions, and higher education degrees within the Spanish education system.

It’s not easy now, and by the way I don’t recommend it, you better rent a temporal flat for 6 months and while you are here you start the journey. We locals search in idealista

Properties are very expensive and the rent is very low now… if you buy a 600000€ flat, you will be able to rent it for 2000€ maybe, and keep in mind the taxes you will have to pay. Unless you rent it temporary and maybe you can get 3000/4000€ per month. You need to make sure how much is it going to be in the end

How can you get a job offer as tourist for the work visa without a rental that you cant get without peoof of income??
@PickaPictour19 күн бұрын
If you have a job in your country, you can prove income and rent a flat, but as a tourist it’s hard to get a work visa, you need a sponsor
@juanpeace3y2d19 күн бұрын
@PickaPictour si por eso no entiendo, you need a job sponsor but how can you get one without being in spain to apply? Or can someone will only a NIE rent aplace but just not be allowed to stay longer than 90 days? I would prefer to work bc I can't qualify for an NLV due to not enough savings

Totally agree about the Secret Garden paella experience! My friend booked it for us and I was skeptical as I was not a huge fan of paella but this meal (and our time in the garden) was the highlight of our time in Barcelona. I gained a deep appreciation for the art of paella and recommend this experience to everyone I know visiting Barcelona. I also liked you could try two different types of paella. I look forward to trying your restaurant recommendations!

Great long video and one of the first which actually states that T-usual is one of the best options. Other videos are promoting Hola Barcelona Card without any comparison with other cards. I think T-usual is great for 3+ days trip, while for 1-2 days I would say T-casual or T-familiar could be better.

In my experience : ) Gracia is really cool. Not lots of cars screaming thru town so nice and quiet and lots of good restaurants. Poblenou has a nice vibe (especially the rambla and its close to the beach... but there is NO-WHERE to eat. cars aren't too bad in poblenou : ) Examplar is cool lots of stuff to do and eat but most streets are super loud with the cars... Would like to live there in a quiet street.

Hello, you made a great video. It was really useful for a guy like me who wants to study in Spain. And I have a question, you talked about required money to live in spain for a particular time period, do you have to have this in your bank account in your home country or you will put this money to any bank of spain. And withdraw the money as your living time in spain progresses.
