I have to agree. Stedan is hottier & sexier under the sheets, but Doug has the maturity and commitment to give Ste what he really needs. Brendan is the hot, sexy, badboy everyone wants to f**k (once, maybe twice), but you don't marry the badboys (unless they seriously grow up). Brendan still has not learned to control his anger, Stedan would only led to more domestic abuse from Brendan on Ste.

I agree Stug, but only if Ste can let go of his unresolved feelings for Brendan; otherwise Doug should find someone else. Like Ste has said many times, but later seems to forget (as all Hollyoaks characters suffer from frequent episodes of selecive amnesia); Doug is "too good for him" and he "doesn't deserve him", especially while he still loves Brendan..

Selective memory much? Brendan's good deeds are always either a means to an end (i.e. controlling Ste, breaking up Stug, mind games, keeping himself in Ste's life, etc...) Brendan's loan to buy C & H Deli, buying Ste's apartment building, taking a bullet for Ste, etc... were not altruistic or heroic. Brendan forgave the loan to get Ste back and break up tTug (which backfired), Brendan shielded Ste from Walker because he failed to warn Ste of the danger & was responsible for the incident.

Stendan. Brendan has loved Ste from the start, he knows what its like to have him rip his heart out of his chest and stamp all over it. He knows Ste better, he loves Ste more. He would do anything, and I mean anything to be with Ste. Lets remember, he would of taken a bullet for him. Walker nearly killed Ste, and Brendan put his life on the line just to make sure he wouldn't stay die. So in a way he was also thinking about Doug, keeping his boyfriend around. It is sad on Doug, but Stendan ftw<3.
