Nothing in nature is perfect. I haven’t followed the pattern instructions fully as I got lost along the way although the finished mushroom is still lovely. It still looks like a mushroom 🙌🥰

It might seem confusing for some because she’s doing a continuous in-the-round pattern. She’s not really doing individual rounds that get joined with slip stitches but they’re still called rounds because there are increases and decreases as she works the spiral. If you slow the play back speed and/or pause the video so you can follow directions, all will come out great! 😉

@@mcd5478 thank you for leaving this comment to help clarify. I’m actually planning to make a follow up video very soon to help answer questions about the pattern, like this with one, with visuals to go with it. But you are exactly right :)

I’m still a beginner and I am so proud with the mushroom I made for one of my staff ,members tonight! I may not have done everything exactly, but I could follow fairly easily by watching, checking the written bits to make sure I understood, and I did it! It could have been good to have the stitches amount for each round but this didn’t impact my project working out for my first ever crochet item like this!! Thank you!!! ❤ 🧶

why do we place the stitch marker in the second stitch of the round sometimes, but other times we don’t? is there a purpose for this?
@hlegler2 ай бұрын
Help!! 😂 All the stipes in the pattern say "continue basic increase on p 3" at the end, but I don't know where to continue in the basic increase instructions. Do I begin at round 2 by sc2 into each st and continue with the pattern until I have enough to match the cap? ❤ (rn I'm on st 18 in the thick stipe pattern)😅

I recommend watching a few tutorials on amuigrumi before following this tutorial, it’s pretty simple and honestly, if you mess up a few stitches or even rounds, it just adds character to the mushroom!😅

Is it washable, meaning does the ink come off in the wash? If not what kind of ink is it?
@JessNicoleHandmade8 ай бұрын
Versa Craft and Versa Fine don’t come off with washing by hand (I haven’t tested them in the washing machine though) since this hat won’t be put in a washing machine I’m not worried about it.

@@JessNicoleHandmademaybe you should wash a scrap piece that you test, & throw through the washer. I'd be curious, before I bought. Just an idea.
