I used to listen to this video and this album constantly my 1st year of college…I moved out of state by myself at 17 and it made me tear up then and I’m literally on the verge of tears hearing it again 15 years later. ❤❤❤❤

It's so hard to take that people write her off as some sort of Bjork clone. This amazing band and especially Genevieve should be international by now!!!! What a shame that people can't get out of their own EQ and realize true artists. .....it's not all Happy Days reruns people!

I LOVED this group years ago, couldn't believe that a comment of mine has 8 years... I was learning to sing singing along with different great singers, one of those, Genovieve, (Daltrey, Buckley, Vedder...) Now I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna be a singer but hey, I can do something.... They are great band. It's so sad that they dissapeared...

When someone says you that sometimes less is more. Point them to this video and say...this what you mean? Whats not to like about something as simple as an unaltered natural voice, and an acoustic guitar out in the middle of nowhere. Gotta have more beer bottle too!

@@khennypadilla7306 absolutely not. I listened to this again thinking maybe I was harsh but to no real surprise I still don't like her choice of singing "style". The strokes original is a great song and you'd better do a good job if you're gonna do it justice. She can sing but her ideas about what sounds good are kind of twisted

I don't know if your still alive or not... but in case you are, you should do a tutorial of this version. Theres no tutorials of this song. For your own future glory do it, you'll be remembered for generations to come as the guy who taught " hard to explain " to millions around the globe haha

theres a beautiful version of this song I heard in Spotify, its a shame is no longer available, but its quite intimate, I think they recorded in a radio station. no other version can match that one. I hope someday will be available

It´s so amazing how the tension grows in around 4:20 cause she´s not able to hit the high note after that and the guitarrist wait her to join and continue, such a neat good communication...!
