Thank you for actually riding the damn thing. So many videos of people talking and riding slow as shit. I want to observe it's ability to change directions and hear the engine under some load with revs.

Nice video man! I love your riding style! I’m 18 y.o. and soon I’ll get the A2. The first bike I want to buy is yet the DD 750 and whenever I will have enough money to buy it, I will maintain it as best as I can and I will drive it like you do. Not too fast but neither too slow. A good compromise to look around yourself during bike trips and appreciate the places where I will ride it. Again very cool video!

You can always do clutchless shifting. No quick shifter needed.
@ylleskog
@ylleskog 3 жыл бұрын
@@Brian-cj8qm Haha, true. But rather safe than gear salad. :)
@Brian-cj8qm
@Brian-cj8qm 3 жыл бұрын
@@ylleskog It can't damage your gears, because you do exactly the same what a quickshifter does. Because you close the throtle the pressure will get off the gears and you can shift.
@ylleskog
@ylleskog 3 жыл бұрын
@@Brian-cj8qm I don’t really see the point of that kind of shifting though. The sweet thing about a QS; WOT through the gears when accelerating and shifting in any rpm. You can use the rev limiter however, without a QS to make race like clutch less shifting. But I’ve heard it’s risky ..
@Brian-cj8qm
@Brian-cj8qm 3 жыл бұрын
@@ylleskog The point of that kind of shifting is exactly the same as schifting with a QS. The only difference is that a QS takes off the injection electrical but it's the same as manually letting the throttle go.

Hi, I really like this bike. At the moment i’m taking lessons and if everything goes well i’ll have my drivers license in about two months. Can’t wait, cause all i can think about from the second i had my first lesson is driving motorcycles. Great way for your mind to escape everything that’s happening nowadays and also everything else that sometimes sucks, haha While i’m a little bit tall (6ft4) i’ve been searching the internet for a bike that has enought stability on the freeway, but would also be great on winding roads (like the ones in your video), or a little off road riding and on which i wouldn’t have to be too bent over with my back and knees. And beside those features, i don’t want my first bike to be to expensive and heavy. It’s always nice to have something ‘better’ to fantasize about. (The Indian ftr1200 is my dreambike at the moment) I also really like the sound of the versys, and i have read that it’s a very nimble bike. Although i’m not really keen about the way the front of the bike looks, i don’t care about that to much because i think the bike will be a great joy to ride. Like in a ‘friends with awesome/addictive benefits kind of way’. Thanks for uploading these video’s it makes me like the bike even more! And i am searching the second hand shops at the moment for a black versys from 2008-2011. I you have a couple of minutes spare time...could you tell me something about the bike?! Like...is it a nice fit for someone with my hight? How tall are you? And how much do you think a secondhand versys would coast? In Holland i can find them starting at about €3500,- till €5000,- with about 30.000 kilometers. I think it shouldn’t be more than €4000,- for a bike thats +10 years old. But that’s just a guess. I also would really like to know what you like about your bike and/or dislike about is. Anyone is welcome to comment of course!! 🙏🏼
