Hi, my question is about your EcoLet Separera Mini composting toilet? Could you please let me know, if you use the little pouring opening on the far left of the liquid container, to empty. Does this easily and completely empty the container? (no liquid left behind -caught behind inner moulding) Thank you

Hi guys, was wondering if you could post a photo or video of where the connecting hose between tank 2 & 3 runs. Did you go over or under the axle? I'm worried that the tanks won't equalize if it runs over the axle. Cheers Enzo

Hey guys ive got a really stupid question here, ive just brought an iTechworld 120x with the M8 bolt terminals. I have no idea how these terminals work. Am i supposed to put the lugs underneath the bolt and both washers and tighten the terminal down? One of the washers is split, is this supposed to be tightened until the split washer flattens out? How many ring lugs can you attach to a terminal before the connection suffers? There wasnt much wiring or installation info with the battery at all

Hi guys we’re up to installing our havelock insulation and were thinking of using the spray adhesive like you did. Did you have any issues with the insulation slipping down the side walls? I was worried gravity may make it slip to the bottom of the walls .

To ensure that no rust take hold in the under chassis, you have to wash and dry the entire underchassis to apply a good brand of antirusting undercoat.

Love your work. Couple of things I will change. Mine is a 2002 Trev Coaster, also, a school bus from Japan with low kilometres. Australian standards require your solar setup be vented to outside to circulate fresh air. I had a boot setup built to first down strut in wall from the rear with rear door access and vented. I am dead keen to see your ceiling finish. Fellow I bought it from was diesel mechanic and his carpentry shows. I absolutely love your insulation setup and have just now ordered the same materials. Thank you.

What is the point of having 3 interconnected tanks?
@_ourgreatescape4 ай бұрын
Hey mate, interconnecting the tanks allows us to fill and pump the water out of them simultaneously so they act as one big tank. If they weren't interconnected you would have to manually switch each tank over with valves.

With such a big battery setup I would consider running two of the 40 amp DC/DC chargers in parallel.

Thanks for the feedback mate! We'll see how this performs first. Could be something to think about in the future.
@Sethjxl7 ай бұрын
These older vehicles tend not to have massive alternators and are usually sized for the vehicle itself with a little extra for a vew accessories. 40A+ is a lot of overhead to ask, adding another 40A will either end in causing the chargers to cut in and out when supply voltage drops below minimum, or (more likely), you will soon burn out the windings in the alternator. It's worth noting that many alternators are about %50 efficient, that means for every 1KW of kenetic power they pull from the motor, they burn 500W in heat and provide 500w in electrical energy to the drain device. That's a lot of heat at low speeds. Another approach to charging (without upgrading the alternator) would be to have a separate Solar charger. This way you can charge with solar and alternator at the same time and in theory (with your 600w of solar) almost half the charging time.
@_ourgreatescape7 ай бұрын
@@Sethjxl 100% agree mate. Definitely wouldn’t want to work the alternator too hard. We have seen people use solar MPPT chargers as well as the DC-DC. Seems like a great option! Cheers

Yep…that’s me unsubscribed. More itech junk getting pushed onto people. If they spent as much on quality control as they did on marketing their product might be ok!!

I have never had a problem with any of my itech gear. What negative exprecies have you had
@shanenorwell85807 ай бұрын
@@adampreston285 I own a business that specialises in off grid battery setups. We unfortunately have a huge amount of issues with itech gear and often the customers are left high and dry as their warranty and backup is as bad as their products. Had failures of pretty much everything they sell from batteries to inverters and everything in between. Also seen 4-5 of their jumper packs expand so badly that the essentially blow the case apart (not explosively but from the force of the battery expanding).
@_ourgreatescape7 ай бұрын
@@shanenorwell8580 Hey mate, that's unfortunate. However, for a system like this, every other decent brand would charge 2-3 times the price. I see why iTechworld is a popular option. I've never heard of any problems from friends that use their gear so we are happy to test it out.
