Thank you so much! It’s such a great staple in my wardrobe 🥰 I used the Cynthia shirt pattern for the shirt and shortened it overall about 15cm to achieve the shorter length. Then I drafted the collar by using the neckline of the shirt to sketch out the neckline of the collar. I don’t know if that makes sense, but let me know if you have more questions! 💖

@@themakingskye I made it harder on myself 😅 I’m using a strand of 100% cotton and a strand of thin mohair both together at the same time just to make it extra comfy but the mohair is making it look kinda messy so I am regretting this choice

The fabric is beautiful. I love the look. I’m in NY and theirs such a variety to choose from. I just wanted a lead. I have the same pattern since last winter! It now 12/2024. Once I get started I’ll be on a roll. I want to make like five dresses.

I love working with Drops yarns they are very cost effective and the quality is top notch! Also love Hobbii to shop for yarn, their friends merino and mohair is really nice 😊 but if you have a yarn store near you I’d also check that out so you can get a feel of what you like 🥰

To be honest I shop for yarn online a lot, for the same reason! But I also do a lot of research and watch reviews if available so I get a better idea of how the yarn acts 😊

You should definitely give them a try!! I love how versatile this pattern is and I think you'll be getting your moneys worth 🥰 I recommend making a toile first because the sizing can be tricky. Hey Anne, thanks you for your kind words! Don't be scared, it is definately doable, I can tell you because I was scared to haha I usually don't follow all the steps with viki sews because I'm a little lazy 😂 But with this pattern I actually did stay taped in the areas I was scared might loose it's shape, like the neckline, side slit and the button placket. I hope this helps but feel free to ask if you're stuck. Wishing you the best of luck! 💖

I feel this girl!!!! I always get into a rhythm where I post consistently for a few months and then I take a few months break, it's like clock work lol. I have been wanting to slow down and create more for myself and not feel pressured to create to keep the numbers going.
