10 rows at a time is impressive. I remember dad pulling a 2 row Spudnik into our shop, cutting it in half, and adding two more rows in the middle. Our neighbors thought he was nuts.

We have a lot of fields with gravel so we have those to try and keep the window from breaking. Doesn’t always work

Normally yes we don’t want that much dirt but these are yellow potatoes and they are a little more fragile than your regular brown potato so we dig them wetter than normal so we can send the dirt for cushioning
