Rajagala also somewhat similar to Sigiriya , but you will find it's more safety ...for the travelers , also it has more to watch You get different sites & landscapes withing just few footsteps . Pree historic time to historic eras ...it's in Ampara.

It’s lovely to see the south from your perspective! We did a few strike missions in the last six get some swell and ironically missed a few good days back at home in the east. It’s been an odd season transition. Fortunately Galle fort gave me some amazing lefts, despite the worry of some locals. I won’t be back south until after the new years as we have arranged a 20th tsunami anniversary clean up in Arugam Bay on Dec 26th. Hopefully this island left a nice impression with your time spent here 🫶🏾

yeah i was only able to get a few good sessions at fisherman's point, but most of the times in weligama to Galle it was so windy. Though the surf wasn't as good as what i wanted, I still really loved the country more than I expected. spent 1month, then left to india, and then came back for another 2weeks :)

Sadly we werent able to check arugam bay cause there were some terrorist threats at the exact time we planned to go. But hopefully we can go back and check that off the list

@ I came back at that time from Bangkok through Chennai, and so many of the tourists who were on the island with a bit of curiosity inside themselves came and scored some incredible experiences for their journeys. There have been some media articles from first person recounts that I hope humbled the severity of the threats back a few months ago 🫶🏾

Great Video. Those monkeys were crazy! Were they friendly ? Is it that Windy the whole trip ? I’ve been fishing almost my whole life and this is the first time I ever saw anyone fish out of a tree. Thank you for the fantastic content and please keep them coming!

the monkeys were local pests haha And most of the time it was windy but there were few hours some days that it was calm but also small waves. Fishing seems to be a thing there too. you can see those fishermen on stilts in different areas :) Thank you for watching and supporting! Glad you enjoyed :)

whats the best season for this area, the "west Philippine sea? is there any surf on the next island to the south, Mindoro?

haven't heard about surf there but I also feel the north islands there might work

@@AstridSadayaTravels I cant find anything about possible surf on Mindoro... but there has to be... maybe not as consistent as the west facing Luzon but it should catch most of the same south china sea swell.... the best I can find is incidental surf in videos that arent about surfing LOL

what season is it most consistent? I have heard the northwest monsoon is the best time but not sure....

I have been to puerto Galera but they only have nice calm beaches good for diving. I feel there must be waves in the small isalnds north west of it though. Probably just never revealed 😁

@@AstridSadayaTravels definitely not any waves in that area... any surf would be in occidental mindoro, on the west facing reefs and beaches.

Oil money is good. It got me sandboarding in Huacachina, Peru. Paracas National Reserve is other worldly.

Dubai sucks! They practice slavery in real time. They also practice Sharia meaning if you get raped you go to jail for having sex outside of marriage. It is a miserable place!

April. Normally it's not so good this month but there was a typhoon right before i was there, so after that was some good swell :)

nice paradise ...from Borongan Samar but i don't remember how far is it from the City of Borongan, it has been a while now. The accomodation is pretty good and im sure it's safe. Do they have a website?
