How do you slow the rain down? I try to adjust the velocity on pEmitter and it doesn't seem to have much of an effect, until I put it down to around .134 and it just starts moving sideways

Finish the clip/effect and then right mouse button > change clip speed. Let me know if it works. If it doesn't work at first, right mouse button > compound clip and then right mouse button > change clip speed

Wow, this is the third YT video in a row that proclaims to be a complete guide I have watched, and none of them have told me how to apply the crop at the end so I am not working with a highlighted crop all the time. As a LR user trying Darktable, this is really frustrating.

Did you create an alpha output, and tracked the mask? Did you apply a layer underneath the video layer?

Is there a way to view the mask similar to the color page where you can turn off overlays if it needs twerking cause I'm rooting a car but at a certain point it loses tracking and I have to clean it up

@@RicoResolves I am making the car transparent then bringing it in to nuke to adjust it's black and white levels however at a certain point more then the car becomes the mask and certain parts of the car disappear so I want to disable seeing the car as a mask at certain points when the track drifts in magic mask to fix the drift however just seeing the car transparent makes it harder when I get the mask finished I'm going turn back on its overlay to bring it back to transparent

While I don't think its a much used feature, it can be helpful to see what your image would look like with a white border, framed, etc. White frame or black frame around the image can dramatically change the look of your image. I'm sure there's other uses for it, but its not a feature that is probably used much, but welcomed anyways.

@@RicoResolves Davinci Resolve isn't the same as Davinci Resolve Studio. Two different programs. One's free one's premium. Your video show's up for Davinci Resolve results and it's simply impossible to use your advice on free version. Don't get me wrong - the video itself is fine, but there is bunch of folks that simply won't be able to utalise presented tool as we don't have it in Davinci Resolve.

But my problem is, that it just doesn't work with 4k videos. Others from the same folder work just fine. The message is the same "media offline". Any solutions for that?

Hi Rico, thanks for the quick reply! Actually, the text is in front of the screen, and as you walk towards the text (in front of you) the letters keep growing in size and become bigger and bigger as you keep walking towards them to a point where you just pass them through (I don't know if this is clear enough🙂)

@hinos72 Yes this is clear enough. You basically want the text to appear from behind a person to the front of the person. While it's doing that, you want the text to scale up correct? I'll post a tutorial on how to do this on Purely Resolve!

Render fusion output with your right mouse button while you click on the fusion composition. That will help.

I found that if you right click on the transition, it gives the option of placing in the middle of the edit. The transition's center will always stay on the edit. If you slide to resize the transition, it will extend to both sides of the edit evenly. You won't have to do all that moving or anything after doing it once.
