How do you connect and mount the mic with the mic holder?
@MrPremierdrum Жыл бұрын
You can see the mics have clamps on them to the drum rims. The bass drum mic is also attached in the same way using a goose neck attached to a clamp.

Smashing job, you guys. I wouldn't have imagined RMW could fit in with two Cream classics, but you managed it seamlessly. Great solos too, they capture the spirit of the originals without simply aping them note for note, so they are both a tribute and a fresh look at the solo. Well done! Those were the days, eh, lads? I am so glad to have been young when I was. I pity young people today stuck with the crap that passes for commercial music these days.

I dunno if it's your mics or this instrument or what, but the sound on this was very flat and not resonant. Did you get this replaced? Does the new one sound better? I just got mine yesterday and the sound was amazing!

I'm still playing mine and the sound is amazing. It's rich and deep. How do you like the slap top?

I like it but don't play it unfortunately I am mainly a drummer in pub bands but would like to get out and play it with some acoustic musicians.

I’m looking at buying this kit as a complete beginner but I’ve seen on one video the pads are very hard and make to much of a loud noise without turning the sound up… what’s your thoughts please… great video
@MrPremierdrum22 күн бұрын
I would agree sound not great out of built-in speaker headphones OK best out of powered monitor.

Nice video, do you know if I could hook up a newer dtx high hat stand to my stock dtx explorer
@MrPremierdrum2 жыл бұрын
I don't know but I do know that the hi hat in the video wasn't the one that came with the Explorer Kit. But then again the brain was also updated if I had still had the old brain maybe I would of been stuck with the old hard pad that came with the original Explorer Kit.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in EU :-( In Germany the Green party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one state operated peoples gas station per city. From 2027 on the will even stop the production and the import of certain car parts as exhaust systems, catalysts and even stop selling engine lubricants!!

Hi, would you use this or an alesis dm lite for home recording. Ive never played drums before. Also could you get away using it for small gigs as it sounds good when you play it...
@MrPremierdrum3 жыл бұрын
I would use it for a band house rehearsal but probably only that its going through a proper drum amp Perc for gigs a proper e kit is better than this.

Hey 👋 I’ve got This drum pad but no idea where to start, gear 4 music doesn’t have a tutorial DVD etc. I was wondering if you knew where I could look? You’re videos great 😊 but a bit advanced for me lol
@MrPremierdrum3 жыл бұрын
Mine came with instructions in the box on how to use it i.e. alter things on it. If your on about actually playing it only you can really figure that one out. There is probably videos on utube done by people like me going into detail on how to use the drum pad. If its playing drums best get some lessons there are lessons on utube I've seen them myself.

I am a total novice drummer and have one of these kits and am enjoying using it to learn on. I do find the pedals are a pain - too small so can't do heel up eg. and it's difficult to stop them from moving - and I've had double kicking but just assumed it was my poor playing, but perhaps it's not?! When I got the kit the tempo would stay set at whatever I last used, but now it always defaults to 210 bpm and I've been told that that's normal.....does yours always default to 210 whenever you switch on?? Thanks,
@MrPremierdrum3 жыл бұрын
To be honest i don't know I haven't used it since lockdown its a rehearsal tool for me. I don't use any backing tracks that are on it so I guess I don't have allott to do with any built in tempos I only use it to rehearse with band or backing tracks from utube.
