Gripping and heartbreaking. SPOILER ALERT: The amateur pilot is a class-A jerk who's probably not competent to fly a kite and shouldn't be trusted with a child on the ground much less in the air; he epitomizes what is meant by the expression "too stupid to live." The tragedy is that he was so abysmally lacking in judgement as to take his little boy with him.
