This was such an amazing experience. To say this was Disney Level would be to short change this event. The actors were amazing. The sets were on-point. I felt like I was literally in the Star Trek universe. One of my trips, I even was in my Star Trek uniform and did the bridge photo of me in the Captain's chair. The best part was a few of the actors integrated my being in uniform as part of their dialogue... so you know it wasn't a completely rote performance being done for each showing. So many people are missing out on such a great show, especially with the resurgence of Trek shows. It is a shame that it only lasted 10 years. I believe I saw a recent video of someone getting into an area where the promenade was and it was still there... unused.

I wish we'd been able to watch the full video every time. I remember the "meat" of it with the air force guy the first time, but I think the 2-3 other times I went through, the TV was off. The other fun thing about all that was the Fremont Experience was doing the Area 51/UFO/Alien show that first time I was there, so it was pretty surreal and freaking awesome.

Too bad a wealthy Trek fan like the late Paul Allen, who purchased a lot of original Trek props, sets, costumes, models, etc, displayed in a traveling museum show, didn't purchase this attraction to keep it going, perhaps moving it to another permanent location. Similar to the standing Tos sets in Georgia built for Trek Continues or New York for the Phase 2 fanfilms. Both are still operating as museum attractions and fan film production

Ridiculous that this wasn't maintained. Greatest Trek attraction, exhibit, ride. Ever. Of course over time, needs some updates, additions, changes to story, plot, but this was a Trekkers dream holodeck like experience. Visited 1998
@devosentertainment3 ай бұрын
Indeed. But Vegas as a whole failed in the “family friendly” attempt. This should have been the flagship attraction for Paramount’s theme parks, not a one off in an off-strip hotel. Regardless, we gave it our all building it and was heartbroken to see it die such an ugly death.
@alexxbaudwhyn75723 ай бұрын
@@devosentertainment On point 👉 Ridiculous oversight by Trek IP owners, whoever that is at the moment 🙄 Head scratcher why Disney bought Star Wars. The Star Wars Universe is a dystopia, with the Empire/New Order/#NEXTEVILOVERLORDS constantly ruling the Galaxy. Not a place I want to live. The Trek Universe, at least Tos, tng eras, are where I want to live, occasional Klingon, Romulan, Dominion wars notwithstanding ;)
