Every time I hear him sing I am humbled and amazed at his astonishing talent. God truly blessed all of us with this extradorinaiy talent. I am so grateful that I lived in a time to hear him in so many venues all of which showcase his wide range of vocal range. Simply the best!🙂

Wilkinson is great, but that was not a good rendition of And I love You So. You are supposed to interpret the lyrics, not fight it.

@@clarnichana9406 If you don't know what it means to interpret a song vs. to fight it< i can't help it. Listen to the lyrics and ask how the song should be sung.

I thought he did a great version of it. Completely different than the way most people sing it including me His was higher. I think he hit about an F# on top, instead of a soft Eb. Singing it higher like that makes it sound like a lament or cry, as in Bring Him Home, rather than than a show of soft affection. I like both ways and I may try his version next time I do it.

@@ytesr The key has nothing to do with whether you interpret the song in accordance to the lyrics. Don McLean and Perry Como did not sing this in the same key, but both sang in a way that fit the lyrics (and the music). This is not a song about struggle.

I remember seeing Colm in a pub in Colraine Street Dublin, not sure of spelling, Louis Stewart on guitar, Johnny Wadham drums, stand-up bass player and Colm singing. What a gig.

So versatile. After hearing him as JVJ in LM, I really thought his speaking voice would be lower than it is. He seems nice, as well as amazingly talented.

He was actually discovered having been in TC Doherty's show VOICES (about Jean D'Arc) in Dublin. Theatre people came over from London and then offered him a part in Superstar in Ireland but 'owes' his discovery to a Derry man Tommy Doherty

Voices was 12 years after Superstar. He did a lot of things before Voices. Even had a solo album.
