I actually went to Oxford a couple of years ago. I remember one summer night in second year, I was at a party and there was this girl there who was really, really drunk. At one point she let out the longest, loudest fart I've ever heard come out of a girl. It smelled so awful as well. It was shocking yet hilarious at the same time, definitely one of my funniest memories from university. Such fun times.

I'm currently deciding what room grade to go for at Oriel (starting this year!) and feeling unsure of what to choose - this B grade room looks SO much bigger and nicer than the example photo and virtual tour example (I thought it was an A* until I read the caption). What would be your honest feedback on the rooms? It seems like there's a huge difference between your B grade room and the examples - is this the case or are they all equal in 'niceness'? Also how do they compare to the A/A* rooms (I had been thinking of going for one of those but it seems like maybe it's not worth it considering how nice the B looks!)? Thank you!!

I have 2 questions regarding the Physics DPhil at the University of Oxford and I hope you can answer: 1) Is it really possible to really complete the doctorate degree in 3 years? 2) Can DPhil students do an interdisciplinary dissertation on the Physics DPhil program, e.g. An Atomic and Mathematical/Theoretical Physics thesis dissertation (carrying both the experimental and theoretical sides of Physics research)?
