The corrupt directors: Oh yeah we’ll make it so he had a mixed race son who gets killed by Fitzgerald. None of this shit happened and Hugh Glass’ son died prior to the events of The Revenant. Hugh Glass only ever caught Fitzgerald in the shoulder with a bullet after he tracked him to an army recruitment camp, but never saw him again. Glass was killed some years later by the Arikara.

Hollywood added random things to Hugh Glass’s life, making a mockery of the book “The Revenant”. Hollywood will herald someone as a hero, while simultaneously taking the piss out of him and exploiting him from beyond the grave.

The move captures one thing in a brilliant way. That is nature. Raw, brutal and honest. The humans would still fit it back then. And it wasn't some nice picture...

This soundtrack makes me feel what a life without God would feel like- void and empty, as many people experience. He lost his boy and wife and has nothing to live for. Haunting and lonley feeling. They rely on what this life can give them and when its all taken away, they are left with nothing. Its so simple to gain the Lord but men just ingornantly refuse and are left to the empty.

All we have is Him. God Bless you man.

I refuse Him, and it's forever. I don't... can't believe in Him. Simply put, for me the wrong ones are you. But I believe in the inmense beauty of this terrible thing we call Universe. I believe there may be a meaning in all of this for me. And yet, you don't fail to understand I will always feel like this.
@HOC3072 ай бұрын
@@Ucho469 why do you refuse Him if you don't mind me asking?
@thetheater76102 ай бұрын
@@HOC307 god don't need no human or life except himself in the first place being perfect. His perfection would't fit with anything else but his life. You probably believe in something very powerful , but it's not a god, it's just very powerful, in some ways, and there is no rational thinking that makes us believe it's actually interacting with life.
@HOC3072 ай бұрын
@@thetheater7610 i actually believe that we as humans separate ourselves from God long ago which is found in the story. This separation is still going on today but now we have an opportunity to go back to him. One cant know God and who he is until they decide to turn back to Him and draw near to HIm. He will show up. Encourage you to give it a shot.

Damn, I am actually writing a Master's level paper as we speak on the historical trauma felt by the Native American Population, and this soundtrack is so poignant. The words just flow. It's such a sad era, and no amount can be done to restore the harm caused.

After a long time, I listened to this wonderful work by Sakamoto again. I can't get over how good it feels to listen to this despite the melancholy and sadness that this piece reflects. I hope that people who haven't found this movie yet, which is impossible to believe, listen to this soundtrack and never forget it.
