2:45:10 Hover depletes too fast, would have been nice if more flashing H capsules in the game, or instead of Key the frog boss upgrade be automatic Hover recharge. It could be done if someone has the knowledge to edit assembly code in the game.

It does, especially for something so fun to do! As a kid playing this I NEVER had hover when I needed it.

The credits level at the end was such a cool touch. Not something many games were doing at the time

For sure! I loved any after-game levels. Toe Jam and Earl is another I can remember that we had back then.

Loved this game, but I could never beat the Stage 4 Washing Machine boss. Killer soundtrack though!

It's tough for sure, I'm going through and beating all the NES games I never played or managed to beat and this one was tough! For the washing machines it took me quite a while to find a viable strategy, maybe I should post a death compilation! Overall, it's fairly forgiving - unlimited continues, and once you beat firebug you don't have to fight him again, even if you replay the level with a continue. Makes it a little easier!
